together with your children and your wives, and the foreigners living in your camps who chop your wood and carry your water.

Your children and wives are here with you too. So are the outsiders living in your camps. They chop your wood and carry your water.

your little ones, your wives, and the sojourner who is in your camp, from the one who chops your wood to the one who draws your water,

your dependents, your wives, and the resident aliens in your camps who cut your wood and draw your water—

your little ones, your wives, and the stranger who is within your camps, from the one who gathers your firewood to the one who draws your water,

your little ones and your wives— also the stranger who is in your camp, from the one who cuts your wood to the one who draws your water—

your little ones, your wives, and thy sojourner that is in the midst of thy camps, from the hewer of thy wood unto the drawer of thy water;

your children, your wives, and the foreigners in your camps who cut your wood and draw your water—

Your little ones, your wives, and thy stranger that[ is] in thy camp, from the hewer of thy wood unto the drawer of thy water:

your infants, your wives, and the foreigners living in your encampment, those who chop wood and those who carry water–

your little ones, your wives, and the foreigners who are in the middle of your camps, from the one who cuts your wood to the one who draws your water,

A rabble of non Israelites went with them, along with great flocks and herds of livestock.

There is no longer Jew or Gentile, slave or free, male and female. For you are all one in Christ Jesus.

“ If there are foreigners living among you who want to celebrate the Lord’s Passover, let all their males be circumcised. Only then may they celebrate the Passover with you like any native born Israelite. But no uncircumcised male may ever eat the Passover meal.This instruction applies to everyone, whether a native born Israelite or a foreigner living among you.”

Then the foreign rabble who were traveling with the Israelites began to crave the good things of Egypt. And the people of Israel also began to complain.“ Oh, for some meat!” they exclaimed.

In this new life, it doesn’t matter if you are a Jew or a Gentile, circumcised or uncircumcised, barbaric, uncivilized, slave, or free. Christ is all that matters, and he lives in all of us.

Let them live.” So they made them woodcutters and water carriers for the entire community, as the Israelite leaders directed.Joshua called together the Gibeonites and said,“ Why did you lie to us? Why did you say that you live in a distant land when you live right here among us?May you be cursed! From now on you will always be servants who cut wood and carry water for the house of my God.”They replied,“ We did it because we— your servants— were clearly told that the Lord your God commanded his servant Moses to give you this entire land and to destroy all the people living in it. So we feared greatly for our lives because of you. That is why we have done this.Now we are at your mercy— do to us whatever you think is right.”So Joshua did not allow the people of Israel to kill them.But that day he made the Gibeonites the woodcutters and water carriers for the community of Israel and for the altar of the Lord— wherever the Lord would choose to build it. And that is what they do to this day.

but the seventh day is a Sabbath day of rest dedicated to the Lord your God. On that day no one in your household may do any work. This includes you, your sons and daughters, your male and female servants, your oxen and donkeys and other livestock, and any foreigners living among you. All your male and female servants must rest as you do.
