所播者麥、所穫者荊。雖勞無益、見土產則蒙羞、我怒震烈、故使之然。○

有人植葡萄園、猶未食之、則必旋歸、恐沒於戰、而他人食之。有人聘妻、猶未娶之、則必旋歸、恐沒於戰、而他人娶之。

彼雖建室、不得居其中、雖栽葡萄樹、不得飲其酒、貨財被虜、第宅傾圯、

爾雖播種、不能有秋、雖踐橄欖、不得以油沐體、雖釀新酒、不得自飲醇醪、

人必建宅第以棲身、植葡萄園而食果。非我建屋、他人居之、非我栽圃、他人食之、選民之壽、比諸樹木、恆食其力。

彼妄發誓詞、專事誑言、淫人妻室、奪人貨財、殺戮人民、流血四境、

萬有之主耶和華諭示於我曰、彼之華堂廣廈、悉變荒蕪、不留一人、葡萄園三十畝、所產僅酒六斗、穀種六百斗、所產僅六十斗、

幽囚之人寢、不聞惡聲。
