Then Moses and the Levitical priests said to all Israel,“ Be silent, Israel, and listen! You have now become the people of the Lord your God.

Then Moses and the priests, who are Levites, spoke to all the Israelites. They said,“ Israel, be quiet! Listen! You have now become the people of the Lord your God.

Then Moses and the Levitical priests said to all Israel,“ Keep silence and hear, O Israel: this day you have become the people of the Lord your God.

Then Moses and the Levitical priests addressed all Israel as follows:“ O Israel, be quiet and listen! Today you have become the people of the Lord your God.

You once were not a people, but now you are God’s people. You were shown no mercy, but now you have received mercy.Dear friends, I urge you as foreigners and exiles to keep away from fleshly desires that do battle against the soul,

Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived! The sexually immoral, idolaters, adulterers, passive homosexual partners, practicing homosexuals,thieves, the greedy, drunkards, the verbally abusive, and swindlers will not inherit the kingdom of God.Some of you once lived this way. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.

for you were at one time darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of the light–for the fruit of the light consists in all goodness, righteousness, and truth–

But thanks be to God that though you were slaves to sin, you obeyed from the heart that pattern of teaching you were entrusted to,and having been freed from sin, you became enslaved to righteousness.

Today the LORD your God is commanding you to keep these statutes and ordinances, something you must do with all your heart and soul.Today you have declared the LORD to be your God, and that you will walk in his ways, keep his statutes, commandments, and ordinances, and obey him.And today the LORD has declared you to be his special people( as he already promised you) so you may keep all his commandments.

But now, freed from sin and enslaved to God, you have your benefit leading to sanctification, and the end is eternal life.
