Write on them all the words of this law when you have crossed over to enter the land the Lord your God is giving you, a land flowing with milk and honey, just as the Lord, the God of your ancestors, promised you.

Write all the words of this law on them. Do it when you have crossed over into the land the Lord your God is giving you. It’s a land that has plenty of milk and honey. The Lord is the God of your people of long ago. He promised you that you would enter the land.

『看吧，日子必到，永恆主發神諭說，我必跟以色列家和猶大家立個新的約，不像我拉着他們祖宗的手、領他們出埃及地的日子、跟他們立的約那樣：我雖做他們的夫君，他們卻違犯了我的約：永恆主發神諭說。但那些日子以後，永恆主發神諭說，我跟以色列家所立的約乃是這樣：我必將我的律法放在他們裏面，寫在他們心上；我要做他們的上帝，他們要做我的子民。

『那些日子以後，主說：我要對他們立的、就是以下這種約：我要頒賜我的律法在他們心上，我要將那些律法寫在他們的心神上』；

以色列人在曠野走了四十年，等到全國的人、出埃及的戰士、都滅盡了，因為他們沒有聽永恆主的聲音；永恆主曾向他們起誓、不容他們看到永恆主向他們列祖起誓應許給我們的地、流奶與蜜之地。

基督呢、其實基督既已得了更優越的領禮拜職分，他就依這量度、做更好之約的中保了；這個約是憑着更好的應許按律法而立的。假使先前的是無可責備，就不必為一個在後的找地位了。因為上帝真地指摘他的子民說：『看吧，日子必到，主說，我必跟以色列家和猶大家立個新的約。不像我在拉着他們的手、領他們出埃及的日子、同他們列祖所立的那種約；因為他們沒有恆守我的約，我也不理他們，主說。因為那些日子以後，主說，我要同以色列家立的就是以下這種約：我要頒賜我的律法在他們心神裏，我要將那些律法寫在他們心上；我要做他們的上帝，他們要做我的子民。

但我對你們說過，你們要取得他們的土地，我要將那地賜給你們去擁為己業，一個流奶與蜜之地：我永恆主是你們的上帝，把你們從萬族之民中分別出來的。

你要把這些話繫在手上做記號；這些話要在你額上做綁額帶。

你們、就是我們的書信，寫在我們心上，給眾人所知道所誦讀的。而你們也顯明了你們就是基督的書信，由我們做僕役遞送的；不是用墨寫，乃是用永活上帝的靈；不是寫在石版上，乃是寫在肉質的心版上。

好實行我向你們列祖所起的誓，給他們流奶與蜜之地，正如今日一樣。』我就回答說『永恆主啊，但願如此。』

他們向摩西敘說：『我們到了你所打發我們去的那地，果然是流奶與蜜的；這就是它的果子。

永恆主若喜愛我們，他就會領我們進那地、把地賜給我們、就是流奶與蜜之地。

將這地賜給他們，就是你向他們列祖起誓應許給了他們的、流奶與蜜之地；
