則必舉爾於高、勝於所造四方之億兆、肇錫嘉名、加以尊榮、可為聖民、以事爾上帝耶和華、循其所許。

He has declared that he will set you in praise, fame and honor high above all the nations he has made and that you will be a people holy to the Lord your God, as he promised.

He has announced that he will make you famous. He’ll give you more praise and honor than all the other nations he has made. And he has said that you will be a holy nation. The Lord your God has set you apart for himself. That’s exactly what he promised to do.

因為你們屬於你們的上帝耶和華，是聖潔的民族，祂從天下萬族中揀選了你們做祂的子民——祂寶貴的產業。

「你們若全心順服你們的上帝耶和華，謹遵祂今天藉我吩咐你們的一切誡命，祂必使你們超越天下萬國。

他們將被稱為聖民，是耶和華救贖的人。你將被稱為蒙眷愛、不再被撇棄的城。

你們要歸於我，作祭司之國、聖潔之邦。這些話你要告訴以色列人。』」

但你們是蒙揀選的族群，是君尊的祭司，是聖潔的國度，是上帝的子民，因此你們可以宣揚上帝的美德。祂曾呼召你們離開黑暗，進入祂奇妙的光明。

我們的上帝耶和華與我們如此親近，隨時垂聽我們的呼求，有哪個偉大民族的神明能與之相比？有哪個偉大的民族擁有我今天所傳授給你們的如此公義的律例和典章？

你們也如同活石，被用來建造屬靈的宮殿，好做聖潔的祭司，藉著耶穌基督獻上蒙上帝悅納的靈祭。

這城要使我在天下萬國面前得到尊崇、頌讚和榮耀。萬民聽見我使這城繁榮昌盛，都恐懼戰慄。』」

看啊，那時我必懲罰所有欺壓你的人，拯救瘸腿的，召回分散的，使他們的羞辱化為尊榮，聲名遠播。

「你們若遵守你們上帝耶和華的誡命，遵行祂的旨意，祂必按自己的誓言使你們成為祂聖潔的子民。

鼻環、耳環和華冠。這樣，你戴的是金銀首飾，穿的是綾羅綢緞，吃的是細麵粉、蜂蜜和油。你變得美豔絕倫，晉升為王后。你的美貌名揚四方，因為我給你的華貴使你美貌無比。這是主耶和華說的。

祂使自己的子民強盛，叫祂忠心的子民，祂心愛的以色列人得到尊榮。你們要讚美耶和華！

他們必騎著馬、駕著車、坐著轎、騎著騾子或駱駝，把你們的弟兄從各國帶到我的聖山耶路撒冷，作為供物獻給耶和華，好像以色列人用潔淨的器皿把素祭帶到耶和華的殿中。這是耶和華說的。」耶和華說：「我要在他們中間立一些人做祭司和利未人。」

我本想使以色列人和猶大人緊靠著我，就像腰帶緊貼在人的腰間，讓他們做我的子民，使我聲名遠揚、得到讚美和尊崇，他們卻不肯聽從。這是耶和華說的。』

你們若聽從你們的上帝耶和華藉我今天吩咐你們的誡命，謹慎遵行，毫不偏離，也不隨從、供奉別的神明，祂必使你們做首不做尾，居上不居下。
