The Lord your God commands you this day to follow these decrees and laws; carefully observe them with all your heart and with all your soul.

「你們活在世上的日子，在耶和華－你列祖的上帝所賜你為業的地上，你們要謹守遵行這些律例典章：

「你們若愛我，就會遵守我的命令。

「現在，以色列啊，聽我所教導你們的律例典章，要遵行，好使你們存活，得以進入耶和華－你們列祖之上帝所賜給你們的地，承受為業。我吩咐你們的話，你們不可加添，也不可刪減，好叫你們遵守耶和華－你們上帝的命令，就是我所吩咐你們的。你們已親眼看見耶和華因巴力‧毗珥所做的。凡隨從巴力‧毗珥的人，耶和華－你的上帝都從你中間除滅了。只有你們這緊緊跟隨耶和華－你們上帝的人，今日全都存活。看，我照着耶和華－我的上帝所吩咐我的，將律例和典章教導你們，使你們在所要進去得為業的地上遵行。你們要謹守遵行；這就是你們在萬民眼前的智慧和聰明。他們聽見這一切律例，必說：『這大國的人真是有智慧，有聰明！』

你不可聽那先知或是那做夢之人的話，因為這是耶和華－你們的上帝考驗你們，要知道你們是否盡心盡性愛耶和華－你們的上帝。你們要順從耶和華－你們的上帝，敬畏他，謹守他的誡命，聽從他的話，事奉他，緊緊跟隨他。

有了我的命令而又遵守的人，就是愛我的；愛我的人，我父要愛他，我也要愛他，並且要親自向他顯現。」猶大（不是加略人猶大）問耶穌：「主啊，為甚麼親自向我們顯現，而不向世人顯現呢？」耶穌回答他說：「凡愛我的人就會遵守我的道，我父也會愛他，並且我們要到他那裏去，與他同住。不愛我的人就不遵守我的道。你們所聽見的道不是我的，而是差我來之父的。

「你要愛耶和華－你的上帝，天天遵守他的吩咐、律例、典章、誡命。

凡我所吩咐你們的，都教導他們遵守。看哪，我天天與你們同在，直到世代的終結。」

要謹慎遵守耶和華－你們上帝的誡命，和他所吩咐的法度、律例。

你要記得，這四十年耶和華－你的上帝在曠野一路引導你，是要磨煉你，考驗你，為要知道你的心如何，是否願意遵守他的誡命。

凡我所吩咐你們的事，你們都要謹守遵行，不可加添，也不可刪減。」

「這是耶和華－你們的上帝所吩咐要教導你們的誡命、律例、典章，叫你們在所要過去得為業的地上遵行，

「所以，你們要遵守我今日所吩咐的一切誡命，使你們剛強，可以進去得你們所要得的那地，就是你們將過河到那裏要得的，

你要盡心、盡性、盡力愛耶和華－你的上帝。

你們在那裏必尋求耶和華－你的上帝。你若盡心盡性尋求他，就必尋見。
