If someone is caught kidnapping a fellow Israelite and treating or selling them as a slave, the kidnapper must die. You must purge the evil from among you.

Suppose someone is caught kidnapping another Israelite. And they sell or treat that person as a slave. Then the kidnapper must die. Get rid of that evil person.

“ If a man is found stealing one of his brothers of the people of Israel, and if he treats him as a slave or sells him, then that thief shall die. So you shall purge the evil from your midst.

“ If anyone kidnaps a fellow Israelite and treats him as a slave or sells him, the kidnapper must die. In this way, you will purge the evil from among you.

“ If a man is discovered kidnapping one of his Israelite brothers, whether he treats him as a slave or sells him, the kidnapper must die. You must purge the evil from you.

“ If someone is caught kidnapping any of his countrymen of the sons of Israel, and he treats him as merchandise and sells him, then that thief shall die; so you shall eliminate the evil from among you.

“ If a man is found kidnapping any of his brethren of the children of Israel, and mistreats him or sells him, then that kidnapper shall die; and you shall put away the evil from among you.

If a man be found stealing any of his brethren of the children of Israel, and he deal with him as a slave, or sell him; then that thief shall die: so shalt thou put away the evil from the midst of thee.

If a man be found stealing any of his brethren of the children of Israel, and maketh merchandise of him, or selleth him; then that thief shall die; and thou shalt put evil away from among you.

If a man is found kidnapping a person from among his fellow Israelites, and regards him as mere property and sells him, that kidnapper must die. In this way you will purge evil from among you.

If a man is found stealing any of his brothers of the children of Israel, and he deals with him as a slave, or sells him, then that thief shall die. So you shall remove the evil from among you.

「誘拐人口的，無論是把人賣了，或是扣留在他手中，必被處死。

和肉桂、豆蔻、香料、香膏、乳香、酒、油、細麵、麥子、牛、羊、馬、馬車，以及奴隸、人口。

犯淫亂和親男色的，拐賣人口和說謊話的，並起假誓的，或是為任何違背健全教義的事訂立的。

你們就要對付他如同他想要對付的弟兄一樣。這樣，你就把惡從你中間除掉。

雅完、土巴、米設都與你交易，以人口和銅器換你的貨物。

「人若偷牛或羊，無論是宰了或賣了，他就要以五牛賠一牛，四羊賠一羊。賊挖洞，若被發現而被打死，打的人沒有流血的罪。若太陽已經出來，打的人就有流血的罪。賊總要賠償，若他一無所有，就要被賣來還他所偷的東西。若發現他所偷的，無論是牛、驢，或羊，在他手中還活着，他就要加倍賠償。
