倘若有力量行善，就当帮助有需要的人，不要推托。倘若可以帮忙，就不可对有求于你的邻人说：“回去吧，明天再来，我必给你！”

你们要谨慎，不可因为免除债务的第七年将近，就心怀恶念，对贫穷同胞冷眼相待，拒施援手。否则，他会求告耶和华，那时你们便有罪了。

倘若你们欺凌他们，他们向我呼求，我必听他们的呼求，向你们发怒，用刀杀掉你们，使你们的妻子变为寡妇，儿女成为孤儿。

“人们因饱受压迫而呼求，因强权者的压制而求救。

以致穷人的呼求传到祂那里，祂也听见了困苦者的呼求。

不可挪移古时的界石，不可侵占孤儿的田地。因他们的救赎主强大，祂必对付你，替他们申冤。

“到了傍晚，园主对工头说，‘叫工人来领工钱吧，最晚来的先领，最先来的后领。’

你知道‘不可杀人，不可通奸，不可偷盗，不可作伪证，不可欺诈，要孝敬父母’这些诫命。”

万军之耶和华的葡萄园就是以色列，祂所喜爱的葡萄树就是犹大人。祂希望看到公平，却只看见杀戮；指望看到公义，却只听见冤声。

主啊，我的心仰望你，求你赐我欢乐。

耶和华啊，我的心仰望你。

“若我的田地向我喊冤，条条犁沟一同哭诉；

只有那些手洁心清，不拜假神，不起假誓的人。

不可仗势剥削贫穷人，法庭上不可欺凌弱者，因为耶和华必为他们申冤，夺去掠夺他们之人的性命。
