Do not take advantage of a hired worker who is poor and needy, whether that worker is a fellow Israelite or a foreigner residing in one of your towns.

Don’t take advantage of any hired worker who is poor and needy. That applies to your own people. It also applies to outsiders living in one of your towns.

“ You shall not oppress a hired worker who is poor and needy, whether he is one of your brothers or one of the sojourners who are in your land within your towns.

“ Never take advantage of poor and destitute laborers, whether they are fellow Israelites or foreigners living in your towns.

“ Do not oppress a hired worker who is poor and needy, whether one of your Israelite brothers or one of the resident aliens in a town in your land.

“ You shall not exploit a hired worker who is poor and needy, whether he is one of your countrymen or one of your strangers who are in your land in your towns.

“ You shall not oppress a hired servant who is poor and needy, whether one of your brethren or one of the aliens who is in your land within your gates.

Thou shalt not oppress a hired servant that is poor and needy, whether he be of thy brethren, or of thy sojourners that are in thy land within thy gates:

You must not oppress a lowly and poor servant, whether one from among your fellow Israelites or from the resident foreigners who are living in your land and villages.

我必蒞臨、行鞫於爾、凡巫覡及淫亂妄誓、負傭值、欺孤寡、屈賓旅、而不畏我者、我必亟證之、萬軍之耶和華言之矣、

僕婢與我有爭、我若輕視其情、上帝興起、我將何為、迨其臨格、我將何言、造我於胎者、不亦造彼乎、創彼及我於胎者、非一乎、

使之無衣、裸體游行、枵腹而負禾束、造油於其人之院、踐酒於其醡、而己則燥渴、

如宗族中、有貧窮者、爾見其手匱乏、當濟助之、使之偕居、若旅人然、勿取其利、宜畏爾之上帝、使之偕居、貸金與粟、毋取其利、我乃耶和華、爾之上帝、導爾出埃及、以迦南地賜爾、為爾上帝、○如宗族中、有匱乏者、自鬻於爾、勿視若奴、當偕爾居、如傭人旅人然、供爾役事、以待禧年、屆期、彼及子女去爾、而歸其家、復得其祖遺業、我導以色列族出埃及、彼為我僕、不得鬻為奴隸、勿治以嚴、宜畏爾之上帝、○

如爾昆弟希伯來人、或男或女鬻於爾、服役六年、越至七年、必釋之、既釋之、毋使徒手而去、必由羊羣、禾場、酒醡、取而予之、依爾上帝耶和華錫嘏於爾者、從優給之、當憶爾昔在埃及為奴、爾上帝耶和華贖爾、故我今日以此諭爾、僕若愛爾及爾家、以與爾同居為善、謂爾、不願離爾而去、則當取錐貫耳於門、俾其永為爾僕、待婢亦然、彼事爾六年、較之傭人、其值維倍、故釋之時、勿以為難、爾上帝耶和華、必於凡爾所為、錫嘏於爾、○

爾中有人輕視父母、虐遇賓旅、欺凌孤寡、

爾欲吞噬窮乏、滅絕斯土之貧民者、其聽我言、

居斯室、則飲食其所供、蓋工者得其值、宜也、毋由此室移於彼室、
