你可以按着价钱把食物卖给我吃，也可以按着价钱把水卖给我喝；只要让我步行过去就是了；好像住在西珥的以扫子孙，和住在亚珥的摩押人待我一样，等我过约旦河，进到耶和华我们的神赐给我们的地去。’

他不再是敌对者，并且他面前的使者拯救了他们。他以自己的爱和怜悯救赎了他们；在古时的一切日子，他背负他们，怀抱他们。

他仆倒在地，听见有声音对他说：“扫罗，扫罗！你为什么迫害我？”

巴兰就作歌，说：“巴勒把我从亚兰领出来，摩押王引我出东山，说：‘来吧，为我咒骂雅各，来啊，咒骂以色列。’

因为我必使你大得尊荣；你向我说什么，我都照办；只求你替我咒诅这民。’”

耶洗别除灭耶和华众先知的时候，俄巴底带走了一百个先知，每五十个人一组，分散藏在山洞里，又用饼和水供养他们。

我怎能把我的饼、我的水，和我为剪羊毛的人宰杀的肉，给那些我不知道从哪里来的人呢？”

王要回答他们：‘我实在告诉你们，你们所作的，只要是作在我一个最小的弟兄身上，就是作在我的身上了。’
