No Ammonite or Moabite or any of their descendants may enter the assembly of the Lord, not even in the tenth generation.

The people of Ammon and Moab can’t join in worship with the Lord’ s people. That also applies to their children after them for all time to come.

“ No Ammonite or Moabite may enter the assembly of the Lord. Even to the tenth generation, none of them may enter the assembly of the Lord forever,

“ No Ammonite or Moabite or any of their descendants for ten generations may be admitted to the assembly of the Lord.

No Ammonite or Moabite may enter the LORD’s assembly; none of their descendants, even to the tenth generation, may ever enter the LORD’s assembly.

那時候我們將摩西書誦讀給人民聽，見書上寫着說：亞捫人或摩押人永不可進上帝的公會；這是因為他們沒有拿食物和水來迎接以色列人，並且巴勒反而雇了巴蘭來和他們作對，來咒詛他們；但我們的上帝卻使那咒詛變為祝福。

參巴拉、多比雅、亞拉伯人、亞捫人、亞實突人、聽說修復耶路撒冷城牆的事節節進行着，而破口的地方都開始堵塞住了，他們就非常惱怒。

亞捫人多比雅在參巴拉旁邊，他也說：『哼！這些人所修造的、就是一隻狐狸上去，也會把這些石牆跐個破口的！』

也買娶了瑪倫的妻摩押女子路得為妻，好讓死者的名得以在他的產業上立起來，免得死者的名從他族弟兄中、從他故鄉之門下、被剪除：你們今天都作見證。』在城門那裏的眾民、以及那些長老都說：『我們作見證。願永恆主使進你家的這女子像建立以色列家的拉結、利亞二人一樣；又願你在以法他大顯才德，願你的名在伯利恆得稱揚；願你的家因永恆主藉這少婦所要賜給你的後裔成為法勒斯的家一樣；這法勒斯是他瑪給猶大生的。』於是波阿斯娶了路得，路得就做波阿斯的妻子；波阿斯和她同床，永恆主使她懷孕、生了一個兒子。婦女們就對拿俄米說：『永恆主是當受祝頌的，因為他沒有使你今日絕無贖業至親；但願他的名在以色列中得稱揚。他必恢復你的精神，供養你的年老，因為是你的兒媳婦生了他；這愛你的兒媳婦，這對於你比有七個兒子還好的兒媳婦。』拿俄米把孩子抱在懷中，做他的養母。鄰居的婦女們給他起名說：『拿俄米得了孩子了』；她們給孩子起名叫俄備得；這俄備得是耶西的父親，耶西是大衛的父親。以下這些人是法勒斯的後代：法勒斯生希斯崙；希斯崙生蘭；蘭生亞米拿達；亞米拿達生拿順；拿順生撒門；撒門生波阿斯；波阿斯生俄備得；俄備得生耶西；耶西生大衛。

那位贖業至親就說：『這樣我就不能贖了，恐怕對我自己的產業有妨礙；我所應當贖的、你儘管去贖好啦；我不能贖了。』

那些日子我也見了猶大人娶亞實突、亞捫、摩押的女子為妻。

皈依永恆主的外族人不要說：『永恆主必定將我從他人民中分別出來』；被閹割的人也不要說：『唉，我是棵枯乾了的樹了。』
