If you see your fellow Israelite’s ox or sheep straying, do not ignore it but be sure to take it back to its owner.

Suppose you see your neighbor’s ox or sheep wandering away. Then don’t act as if you didn’t see it. Instead, make sure you take it back to its owner.

對他的驢，你要這樣行；對你的兄弟失去而被你找到的任何東西，你都要這樣行，不可不理。如果你看見你兄弟的驢或牛跌倒在路上，你不可不理，總要幫助他把牠們拉起來。

我的弟兄們，你們中間若有人被騙離開了真道，如果有人使他回頭，你們應該知道，那使罪人從歧途上轉回的，就會拯救他的靈魂脫離死亡，也會遮蓋許多罪惡。

被拉到死地的人，你要拯救；將要被殺戮的人，你要挽救。

賙濟窮人的，必不致缺乏；閉眼不理他們的，必多受咒詛。

正好有一個祭司，從那條路下來，看見他，就從旁邊走過去了。又有一個利未人，來到那裡，看見他，也照樣從旁邊走過去了。

“你們中間誰有一百隻羊，失去一隻，不把九十九隻留下在曠野，去尋找那失落的，直到找著呢？既找著了，就歡歡喜喜地放在肩上，回到家裡，請朋友鄰舍來，對他們說：‘請大家和我一同歡樂，因為我失去的羊已經找到了！’

迷失的，我必尋找；被趕散的，我必領回；受傷的，我必包紮；患病的，我必養壯；肥壯的，我卻要除滅。我也必按著公正牧養牠們。

我要等候那掩面不顧雅各家的耶和華，我要仰視他。

不是要把你的食物分給飢餓的人，把流浪的窮困人接到你的家裡，見到赤身露體的，給他衣服蔽體，不可逃避自己的骨肉而不顧恤嗎？

耶穌回答：“我被差遣，只是到以色列家的迷羊那裡去。”

瘦弱的，你們沒有養壯；患病的，你們沒有醫治；受傷的，你們沒有包紮；被趕散的，你們沒有領回；迷失的，你們沒有尋找；你們反而用強暴嚴嚴地管轄牠們。

卻要到以色列家的迷羊那裡去。

如果有人把他的兒子獻給摩洛，而本地的人掩目不看，不把他處死，

你們從前好像迷路的羊，但現在已經回到你們靈魂的牧人和監督那裡了。

你們認為怎樣？有一個人，他有一百隻羊，如果失了一隻，他會不把九十九隻留在山上，去尋找那迷失的嗎？我實在告訴你們，他若找到了，就為這一隻羊歡喜，勝過為那九十九隻沒有迷失的。
