If you see your fellow Israelite’s ox or sheep straying, do not ignore it but be sure to take it back to its owner.

Suppose you see your neighbor’s ox or sheep wandering away. Then don’t act as if you didn’t see it. Instead, make sure you take it back to its owner.

「倘若看見仇人的牛或驢走迷了路，總要牽回去交給他。倘若遇見仇人的驢被馱的重物壓倒，不可逕自走開，總要幫助仇人抬開重物。

見到同胞遺失的驢、衣物或其他東西，都要這樣處理，不可視而不見。如果在路上看見同胞的牛或驢倒在地上，不可視而不見，要幫忙把牠扶起來。

我的弟兄姊妹，如果有人領一個偏離真道的人歸回正路，他該知道：使一個迷途中的罪人歸回正路就是救一個靈魂脫離死亡，並且會遮蓋許多罪。

被拉去屠殺的，你要搶救；踉蹌受死的，你要攔阻。

賙濟窮人的一無所缺，視而不見的多受咒詛。

「剛好有位祭司經過，看見那人躺在地上，連忙從旁邊繞過，繼續趕路。又有個利未人經過，也跟先前那個祭司一樣從旁邊繞過去了。

「如果你們有人有一百隻羊，走失了一隻，難道他不暫時把那九十九隻留在草場上，去找那隻迷失的羊，一直到找著為止嗎？他找到後，會歡歡喜喜地把那隻羊扛回家，並邀來朋友鄰居，說，『我走失的羊找到了，來和我一同慶祝吧！』

我要尋找迷失的，領回分散的，包紮受傷的，醫治患病的，但我要消滅肥壯的。我要憑公義牧養他們。」

雖然耶和華掩面不顧雅各家，但我仍要等候祂，冀望於祂。

把你們的食物分給饑餓的人，接待無家可歸的窮人，送衣服給赤身露體的人，不躲避求助的親人。

耶穌說：「我奉差遣只是來尋找以色列家迷失的羊。」

你們沒有養壯瘦弱的，沒有醫治生病的，沒有包紮受傷的，沒有領回走散的，沒有尋找迷失的。你們反以暴力來管轄他們。

要到以色列人當中尋找迷失的羊。

如果那地方的人對此置之不理，沒有處死那人，

從前你們好像是迷路的羊，現在卻歸向了你們靈魂的牧人和監護者。

如果一個人有一百隻羊，其中有一隻走迷了路，他會怎麼辦呢？難道不會把那九十九隻撇在山上，去找那隻迷失的羊嗎？我實在告訴你們，如果找到了，他會非常歡喜，甚至比有那九十九隻沒有迷失的羊還歡喜。
