官長要繼續對士兵說：『誰懼怕，心驚膽戰，可以回家去，免得他弟兄的心像他的心一樣消沉。』

官长又要对百姓宣告说：‘谁惧怕胆怯，他可以回家去，恐怕他弟兄的心消化，和他一样。’

官长要继续对士兵说：‘谁惧怕，心惊胆战，可以回家去，免得他弟兄的心像他的心一样消沉。’

官长要继续对士兵说：‘谁惧怕，心惊胆战，可以回家去，免得他弟兄的心像他的心一样消沉。’

官长也要告诉士兵，‘有没有胆怯、害怕的？他可以回家去，免得影响他人士气。’

官长又要对人民宣告：‘谁是惧怕、胆怯的，他可以回家去，恐怕他使他兄弟的心融化，像他的心一样。’

官長又要對百姓宣告說：『誰懼怕膽怯，他可以回家去，恐怕他弟兄的心消化，和他一樣。』

官長也要告訴士兵，『有沒有膽怯、害怕的？他可以回家去，免得影響他人士氣。』

官長又要對人民宣告：‘誰是懼怕、膽怯的，他可以回家去，恐怕他使他兄弟的心融化，像他的心一樣。’

官吏要對人民講話說：「有甚麼人懼怕膽怯的？他可以回家去，免得他使他的族弟兄喪膽、像他那樣喪膽。」

族長又當告民曰、畏葸心怯者可歸、免使同儕亦喪膽、

族長亦必告民曰、有人畏葸怯心、則必旋歸、恐其同儕喪膽、與彼無異。

族長亦當告民曰、誰畏葸膽怯、可去而歸家、恐使其同儕亦膽怯與彼無異、

Then the officers shall add,“ Is anyone afraid or fainthearted? Let him go home so that his fellow soldiers will not become disheartened too.”

The officers will continue,“ Is anyone afraid or scared? Let him go home. Then the other soldiers won’t lose hope too.”

And the officers shall speak further to the people, and say,‘ Is there any man who is fearful and fainthearted? Let him go back to his house, lest he make the heart of his fellows melt like his own.’

“ Then the officers will also say,‘ Is anyone here afraid or worried? If you are, you may go home before you frighten anyone else.’

The officers will continue to address the army and say,‘ Is there any man who is afraid or cowardly? Let him leave and return home, so that his brothers won’t lose heart as he did.’

Then the officers shall speak further to the people and say,‘ Who is the man that is afraid and fainthearted? Let him go and return to his house, so that he does not make his brothers’ hearts melt like his heart!’

“ The officers shall speak further to the people, and say,‘ What man is there who is fearful and fainthearted? Let him go and return to his house, lest the heart of his brethren faint like his heart.’

And the officers shall speak further unto the people, and they shall say, What man is there that is fearful and faint- hearted? let him go and return unto his house, lest his brethren’s heart melt as his heart.

The officers will continue to address the army and say,‘ Is there any man who is afraid or cowardly? Let him leave and return home, so that his brothers’ hearts won’t melt like his own.’

And the officers shall speak further unto the people, and they shall say, What man[ is there that is] fearful and fainthearted? let him go and return unto his house, lest his brethren’s heart faint as well as his heart.

In addition, the officers are to say to the troops,“ Who among you is afraid and fainthearted? He may go home so that he will not make his fellow soldier’s heart as fearful as his own.”

The officers shall speak further to the people, and they shall say,“ What man is there who is fearful and faint- hearted? Let him go and return to his house, lest his brother’s heart melt as his heart.”

我們上哪裏去呢？我們的弟兄使我們膽戰心驚，說那裏的百姓比我們又大又高，那裏的城鎮又大，城牆又堅固，如天一樣高，並且我們在那裏看見亞衲族人。』

現在你要向這百姓宣告說：『凡懼怕戰兢的，可以離開基列山回去。』」於是有二萬二千人回去，只剩下一萬人。

巴拿巴有意要帶稱為馬可的約翰同去；但保羅認為不宜帶他去，因為馬可從前在旁非利亞離開他們，不和他們一起工作。

至於膽怯的、不信的、可憎的、殺人的、淫亂的、行邪術的、拜偶像的和一切說謊話的人，他們將在燒着硫磺的火湖裏有份；這是第二次的死。」

那時，以東的族長驚惶，摩押的英雄被戰兢抓住，迦南所有的居民都融化。

「你出兵攻打敵人，要遠離一切惡事。

但那些和他同去的人卻說：「我們不能上去攻打那些百姓，因為他們比我們強大。」於是探子中有人向以色列人散佈有關所窺探之地的謠言，說：「我們所走過、所窺探之地是吞沒居民之地，並且我們在那裏所看見的百姓都身材高大。我們在那裏看見巨人，就是巨人中的亞衲族人。我們在自己眼中像蚱蜢一樣，而在他們眼中，我們也確是這樣。」全會眾大聲喧嚷，那夜百姓哭號。以色列眾人向摩西和亞倫發怨言，全會眾對他們說：「我們寧願死在埃及地，寧願死在這曠野！耶和華為甚麼要把我們領到那地，讓我們倒在刀下呢？我們的妻子和孩子必成為擄物。我們回埃及去豈不更好嗎？」

耶穌對他說：「手扶着犁向後看的人，不配進神的國。」

他們上到以實各谷，窺探了那地之後，竟然使以色列人灰心，不願進入耶和華所賜給他們的地。

既然你如溫水，也不冷也不熱，我要從我口中把你吐出去。

不要被欺騙了；「濫交朋友敗壞品德。」
