爾臨戰時、祭司當至民前宣告曰、

When you are about to go into battle, the priest shall come forward and address the army.

Just before you go into battle, the priest will come forward. He’ll speak to the army.

And when you draw near to the battle, the priest shall come forward and speak to the people

And it shall be, when ye draw nigh unto the battle, that the priest shall approach and speak unto the people,

Then David said to Abiathar the priest, Ahimelech’s son,“ Please bring the ephod here to me.” And Abiathar brought the ephod to David.So David inquired of the Lord, saying,“ Shall I pursue this troop? So the children of Israel inquired of the Lord( the ark of the covenant of God was there in those days,and Phinehas the son of Eleazar, the son of Aaron, stood before it in those days), saying,“ Shall I yet again go out to battle against the children of my brother Benjamin, or shall I cease?” And the Lord said,“ Go up, for tomorrow I will deliver them into your hand.”

And Saul said to Ahijah,“ Bring the ark of God here”( for at that time the ark of God was with the children of Israel).
