But thou shalt utterly destroy them;[ namely], the Hittites, and the Amorites, the Canaanites, and the Perizzites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites; as the LORD thy God hath commanded thee:

只要照耶和華－你神所吩咐的將這赫人、亞摩利人、迦南人、比利洗人、希未人、耶布斯人都滅絕淨盡，

只要照著耶和華你的神吩咐你的，把赫人、亞摩利人、迦南人、比利洗人、希未人、耶布斯人，完全滅絕；

只要將他們盡行殺滅歸神，將赫人、亞摩利人、迦南人、比利洗人、希未人、耶布斯人、都殺滅淨盡，照永恆主你的上帝所吩咐你的，

赫人、亞摩利人、迦南人、比利洗人、希未人、耶布斯人、爾必盡行殄滅、循爾上帝耶和華命、

當盡滅此赫人、亞摩利人、迦南人、比利洗人、希未人、耶布斯人、遵主爾之天主所命爾者、

Completely destroy them— the Hittites, Amorites, Canaanites, Perizzites, Hivites and Jebusites— as the Lord your God has commanded you.

Completely destroy them. Wipe out the Hittites, Amorites, Canaanites, Perizzites, Hivites and Jebusites. That’s what the Lord your God commanded you to do.

When the LORD thy God shall bring thee into the land whither thou goest to possess it, and hath cast out many nations before thee, the Hittites, and the Girgashites, and the Amorites, and the Canaanites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites, seven nations greater and mightier than thou;And when the LORD thy God shall deliver them before thee; thou shalt smite them,[ and] utterly destroy them; thou shalt make no covenant with them, nor shew mercy unto them:

A sword[ is] upon the Chaldeans, saith the LORD, and upon the inhabitants of Babylon, and upon her princes, and upon her wise[ men].A sword[ is] upon the liars; and they shall dote: a sword[ is] upon her mighty men; and they shall be dismayed.A sword[ is] upon their horses, and upon their chariots, and upon all the mingled people that[ are] in the midst of her; and they shall become as women: a sword[ is] upon her treasures; and they shall be robbed.A drought[ is] upon her waters; and they shall be dried up: for it[ is] the land of graven images, and they are mad upon[ their] idols.Therefore the wild beasts of the desert with the wild beasts of the islands shall dwell[ there], and the owls shall dwell therein: and it shall be no more inhabited for ever; neither shall it be dwelt in from generation to generation.As God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah and the neighbour[ cities] thereof, saith the LORD;[ so] shall no man abide there, neither shall any son of man dwell therein.

And I will call for a sword against him throughout all my mountains, saith the Lord GOD: every man’s sword shall be against his brother.And I will plead against him with pestilence and with blood; and I will rain upon him, and upon his bands, and upon the many people that[ are] with him, an overflowing rain, and great hailstones, fire, and brimstone.Thus will I magnify myself, and sanctify myself; and I will be known in the eyes of many nations, and they shall know that I[ am] the LORD.

That ye may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of captains, and the flesh of mighty men, and the flesh of horses, and of them that sit on them, and the flesh of all[ men, both] free and bond, both small and great.

For my sword shall be bathed in heaven: behold, it shall come down upon Idumea, and upon the people of my curse, to judgment.The sword of the LORD is filled with blood, it is made fat with fatness,[ and] with the blood of lambs and goats, with the fat of the kidneys of rams: for the LORD hath a sacrifice in Bozrah, and a great slaughter in the land of Idumea.
