as the descendants of Esau, who live in Seir, and the Moabites, who live in Ar, did for us— until we cross the Jordan into the land the Lord our God is giving us.”

The people of Esau, who live in Seir, allowed us to do that. The people of Moab, who live in Ar, also allowed us to do it. So let us walk through until we go across the Jordan River. Then we’ll be able to go into the land the Lord our God is giving us.”

「現在，以色列啊，聽我所教導你們的律例典章，要遵行，好使你們存活，得以進入耶和華－你們列祖之上帝所賜給你們的地，承受為業。

耶和華對我說：『不可侵犯摩押，也不可向他們挑戰。他們的地，我不賜給你為業，因我已將亞珥賜給羅得的子孫為業。』

當用準確公正的法碼和伊法，好使你的日子在耶和華－你上帝所賜你的地上得以長久。

「你們要走遍營中，吩咐百姓說：『當預備食物，因為三日之內你們要過這約旦河，進去得耶和華－你們上帝賜給你們為業之地。』」約書亞對呂便人、迦得人和瑪拿西半支派的人說：「你們要記得耶和華的僕人摩西所吩咐你們的話說：『耶和華－你們的上帝使你們得享安寧，必將這地賜給你們。』你們的妻子、孩子和牲畜可以留在約旦河東、摩西所給你們的地。但你們中間所有大能的勇士都要帶着兵器，在你們的弟兄前面過去，你們要幫助他們。等到耶和華使你們的弟兄和你們一樣得享平靜，並且得着耶和華－你們上帝所賜他們為業之地的時候，你們才可以回到你們所得之地，承受為業，就是耶和華的僕人摩西在約旦河東、向日出的方向所給你們的地。」

我今日吩咐你的律例誡命，你要遵守，使你和你的後裔可以得福，並使你的日子一直在耶和華－你上帝賜你的地上得以長久。」

「『當孝敬父母，正如耶和華－你上帝所吩咐的，使你得福，並使你的日子在耶和華－你上帝所賜給你的地上得以長久。

「耶和華又因你們的緣故向我發怒，起誓不容我過約旦河，不讓我進入耶和華－你上帝所賜你為業的那美地。

「當孝敬父母，使你的日子在耶和華－你上帝所賜你的地上得以長久。
