From the Desert of Kedemoth I sent messengers to Sihon king of Heshbon offering peace and saying,

雅雜、基底莫、米法押、

你們進他家的時候，要為他們祝福。如果那家配得福氣，你們的祝福必臨到他們；如果那家不配蒙福，祝福仍歸給你們。如果有人不接待你們，不聽你們傳的信息，你們離開那家或那城時，就把腳上的塵土跺掉作為對他們的警告。我實在告訴你們，在審判之日，他們所受的痛苦比所多瑪和蛾摩拉所受的還大！

基底莫、米法押四座城及其草場；

用和善、真誠的話寫信給亞哈隨魯王國一百二十七省的所有猶太人，

無論到哪一戶人家，要先說，『願祝福臨到這家！』如果那裡有配得祝福的人，祝福自然會臨到那人，否則祝福仍歸給你們。

但如果哪一個城鎮的人不歡迎你們，你們就到街上宣告，『就連你們城裡的塵土粘在我們腳上，我們都要跺掉，但是要知道，上帝的國臨近了。』我告訴你們，在審判之日，那城所受的刑罰將比所多瑪所受的還重！

「你們進攻一座城之前，要先給城中居民求和的機會。如果他們開城投降，城裡所有的人都要做你們的奴隸，為你們服勞役。
