When you come to the Ammonites, do not harass them or provoke them to war, for I will not give you possession of any land belonging to the Ammonites. I have given it as a possession to the descendants of Lot.”

When you come to the Ammonites, do not attack them. Do not make them angry. If you do, they will go to war against you. I will not give you any of their land as your own. I have given it to the people in the family line of Lot. I have given it to them as their own.”

And when you approach the territory of the people of Ammon, do not harass them or contend with them, for I will not give you any of the land of the people of Ammon as a possession, because I have given it to the sons of Lot for a possession.’

and enter the land of the Ammonites, the descendants of Lot. But do not bother them or start a war with them. I have given the land of Ammon to them as their property, and I will not give you any of their land.’”

When you come opposite the sons of Ammon, do not attack them nor provoke them, for I will not give you any of the land of the sons of Ammon as a possession, because I have given it to the sons of Lot as a possession.’

And when you come near the people of Ammon, do not harass them or meddle with them, for I will not give you any of the land of the people of Ammon as a possession, because I have given it to the descendants of Lot as a possession.’”

主諭我曰、勿以摩押人為敵、勿與戰爭、我不以其地賜爾為業、因我已將亞珥賜羅得子孫為業、○

於是羅得二女、從父懷妊、長女生子、命名摩押、即今摩押族之祖、季女亦生子、命名便亞米、即今亞捫族之祖、

勿與戰爭、其地我不賜爾、即容一足之地我亦不賜爾、因我已將西珥山、賜以掃為業、

昔以色列人出伊及時、遵主之命、不入亞捫摩押及西珥山之境、過而不滅其民、

亞捫人之王答耶弗他使者曰、以色列人出伊及時、佔據我地、自亞嫩至雅博及約但、今爾以此地反我、則安然無事、或作今爾將斯地樂意反我耶弗他復遣使往見亞捫人之王、謂之曰、耶弗他如是云、以色列人未嘗佔據摩押地、及亞捫人之地、以色列人出伊及行於曠野、至紅海、既至迦叠、遣使往見以東王告之曰、求爾容我過爾境、以東王不允、又遣使往見摩押王、告以此言、摩押王亦不允、故以色列人居迦叠、遂復行曠野、遶以東地及摩押地、由摩押東而來、在亞嫩溪潰列營、並不入摩押境、蓋亞嫩素為摩押之界、以色列遣使往見都希實本之亞摩利王西宏、告之曰、求爾容我過爾境、以至我地、西宏不信以色列人、不容之過其境、集其軍眾、軍眾原文作眾民下同列營於雅哈斯、與以色列人戰、以色列之天主耶和華以西宏與其軍眾、付於以色列人手、以色列人擊之、乃得原居斯地亞摩利人之全地、得亞摩利人之全境、自亞嫩至雅博、自曠野至約但、以色列之天主耶和華逐亞摩利人於己民前、而爾欲得其地乎、爾之神基抹所賜爾之地、爾方可據而有、我之天主耶和華於我前所逐之人、其地我必據而有、爾豈愈於摩押王西撥子巴勒乎、彼曾與以色列人戰乎、曾攻之乎、以色列人居希實本與其鄉里、亞羅珥與其鄉里、及沿亞嫩之諸邑、歷三百年矣、當此之時、爾何不取之歸乎、我未嘗獲罪於爾、爾竟以惡相待、欲攻擊我、願鞫人之主、今日鞫以色列人與亞捫人之是非、
