免得無辜人的血，流在耶和華你的神要賜給你作產業的地上，以致流人血的罪歸在你身上。

免無辜之血、流於主爾之天主所賜爾為業之地、亦免流血之罪歸於爾、

Do this so that innocent blood will not be shed in your land, which the Lord your God is giving you as your inheritance, and so that you will not be guilty of bloodshed.

Do it to protect those not guilty of murder. Then you won’t spill their blood in your land. It’s the land the Lord your God is giving you as your own.

lest innocent blood be shed in your land that the Lord your God is giving you for an inheritance, and so the guilt of bloodshed be upon you.

That way you will prevent the death of innocent people in the land the Lord your God is giving you as your special possession. You will not be held responsible for the death of innocent people.

In this way, innocent blood will not be shed, and you will not become guilty of bloodshed in the land the LORD your God is giving you as an inheritance.

So innocent blood will not be shed in the midst of your land which the Lord your God is giving you as an inheritance, and guilt for bloodshed will not be on you.

就是高傲的眼、說謊的舌頭、流無辜人血的手、

他們的腳奔跑行惡，他們急於流無辜人的血；他們的思想都是邪惡的思想，他們的行徑全是破壞和毀滅。

“我有罪了！我出賣了無辜的人﹙“人”原文作“血”。﹚！”他們說：“這是你的事，跟我們有甚麼關係？”猶大把銀子丟進聖所，然後離開，出去吊死了。

這樣，你們就沒有玷污你們所在之地，因為血能玷污地；在地上如果有流人血的，除非流那故意殺人者的血，那地的血就不能得贖。

他們就呼求耶和華，說：“耶和華啊！我們懇求你，不要因這人叫我們喪命；不要把無辜人的血歸在我們身上，因為你耶和華是照自己所喜悅的行事。”

你的眼睛不可顧惜他，卻要把流無辜人的血的罪從以色列中除掉，好使你平安無事。

“在耶和華你的神賜給你作產業的地上，如果發現有被殺的人，倒臥在田野，又不知道是誰殺死他的，這樣，你的長老和審判官就要出去，量一下從被殺的人那裡到四周城市的距離。看看哪一座城離那被殺的人最近，那城的長老就要從牛群中取一隻母牛犢，就是還沒有耕過地、沒有負過軛的。那城的長老要把母牛犢牽下去，到一個有活水長流的山谷，就是未曾耕種過、未曾撒過種的地方，在那裡要打折母牛犢的頸項。利未支派的祭司的子孫要上前來，因為耶和華你的神揀選了他們事奉他，奉耶和華的名祝福。一切爭訟和一切毆打的事，都要憑他們的話決定。那城所有的長老，就是離那被殺的人最近的，都要在山谷中，在被折斷頸項的母牛犢以上洗手。他們要聲明，說：‘我們的手未曾流過這人的血，我們的眼也未曾看見這事。耶和華啊，求你赦免你的子民以色列，就是你救贖的，不要使流無辜人的血的罪歸在你的子民以色列中間。’這樣，他們流人血的罪就得到赦免了。如果你行耶和華看為正的事，就可以從你中間除掉流無辜人的血的罪了。

王對比拿雅說：“你照著約押的話行吧！殺死他，把他埋葬，好叫約押所流無辜人的血，從我和我父的家除去。

如果你們不欺壓寄居的，不欺壓孤兒寡婦，不在這地方流無辜人的血，也不跟從別的神，自招禍患；我就讓你們在賜給你們列祖直到永遠的這地方居住。

埃及將會荒涼，以東必變成淒涼的曠野，都因為他們向猶大人所行的強暴，又因為在他們的國中流了無辜人血。

此外，瑪拿西又流了許多無辜人的血，耶路撒冷，從這邊直到那邊，都滿了血。這還是在他使猶大人犯罪，去行耶和華看為惡的事那罪之外。

又因著他所流無辜人的血，他使耶路撒冷滿了無辜人的血，耶和華決不赦免。

他們集結起來攻擊義人，把無辜的人定了死罪。
