心勿驕奢、藐視同儕、勿違誡命、勿偏於左、勿偏於右、則可享遐齡、爰及子孫、於以色列族中。

俾不心驕藐視同族人、不向左不向右偏離誡命、則可在以色列人中久居王位、爰及其子孫、

and not consider himself better than his fellow Israelites and turn from the law to the right or to the left. Then he and his descendants will reign a long time over his kingdom in Israel.

He won’t think of himself as being better than his people are. He won’t turn away from the law. He won’t turn to the right or the left. Then he and his sons after him will rule over his kingdom in Israel for a long time.

that his heart may not be lifted up above his brothers, and that he may not turn aside from the commandment, either to the right hand or to the left, so that he may continue long in his kingdom, he and his children, in Israel.

This regular reading will prevent him from becoming proud and acting as if he is above his fellow citizens. It will also prevent him from turning away from these commands in the smallest way. And it will ensure that he and his descendants will reign for many generations in Israel.

Then his heart will not be exalted above his countrymen, he will not turn from this command to the right or the left, and he and his sons will continue reigning many years in Israel.

所以，你们要照耶和华你们神所吩咐的谨守遵行，不可偏离左右。

因为大卫除了赫人乌利亚那件事，都是行耶和华眼中看为正的事，一生没有违背耶和华一切所吩咐的。

但他心高气傲，灵也刚愎，甚至行事狂傲，就被革去王位，夺去荣耀。他被赶出离开世人，他的心变如兽心，与野驴同居，吃草如牛，身被天露滴湿，等他知道至高的神在人的国中掌权，凭自己的意旨立人治国。伯沙撒啊，你是他的儿子，你虽知道这一切，你心仍不自卑，竟向天上的主自高，使人将他殿中的器皿拿到你面前，你和大臣、皇后、妃嫔用这器皿饮酒。你又赞美那不能看、不能听、无知无识、金、银、铜、铁、木、石所造的神，却没有将荣耀归与那手中有你气息，管理你一切行动的神。

耶和华啊，我的心不狂傲，我的眼不高大；重大和测不透的事，我也不敢行。我的心平稳安静，好像断过奶的孩子在他母亲的怀中；我的心在我里面真像断过奶的孩子。

必有万军耶和华降罚的一个日子，要临到骄傲狂妄的；一切自高的都必降为卑；

还留一个支派给他的儿子，使我仆人大卫在我所选择立我名的耶路撒冷城里，在我面前长有灯光。

因为资财不能永有，冠冕岂能存到万代？

就是听见我指着这地和其上居民所说的话，你便心里敬服，在我面前自卑，撕裂衣服，向我哭泣，因此我应允了你。这是我耶和华说的。

悖逆的罪与行邪术的罪相等；顽梗的罪与拜虚神和偶像的罪相同。你既厌弃耶和华的命令，耶和华也厌弃你作王。”

你的牛羊加多，你的金银增添，并你所有的全都加增，你就心高气傲，忘记耶和华你的神，就是将你从埃及地为奴之家领出来的，

你也要记念耶和华你的神在旷野引导你这四十年，是要苦炼你，试验你，要知道你心内如何，肯守他的诫命不肯。

他的祷告，与神怎样应允他，他未自卑以前的罪愆过犯，并在何处建筑邱坛，设立亚舍拉和雕刻的偶像，都写在何赛的书上。

所吩咐你们的话，你们不可加添，也不可删减，好叫你们遵守我所吩咐的，就是耶和华你们神的命令。

况且你的仆人因此受警戒，守着这些便有大赏。

他在急难的时候，就恳求耶和华他的神，且在他列祖的神面前极其自卑。

不可吃血。这样，你行耶和华眼中看为正的事，你和你的子孙就可以得福。

你的众子若守我的约和我所教训他们的法度，他们的子孙必永远坐在你的宝座上。”

你说：‘看哪，我打败了以东人’，你就心高气傲，以致矜夸。你在家里安居就罢了，为何要惹祸使自己和犹大国一同败亡呢？”

你要谨守听从我所吩咐的一切话，行耶和华你神眼中看为善，看为正的事。这样，你和你的子孙就可以永远享福。”

他既强盛，就心高气傲，以致行事邪僻，干犯耶和华他的神，进耶和华的殿，要在香坛上烧香。

但我不从他手里将全国夺回；使他终身为君，是因我所拣选的仆人大卫谨守我的诫命律例。

又恐怕我因所得的启示甚大，就过于自高，所以有一根刺加在我肉体上，就是撒但的差役要攻击我，免得我过于自高。

要按他们所指教你的律法，照他们所断定的去行；他们所指示你的判语，你不可偏离左右。

不在耶和华面前像他父玛拿西自卑。这亚们所犯的罪越犯越大。

你们年幼的，也要顺服年长的。就是你们众人也都要以谦卑束腰，彼此顺服；因为神阻挡骄傲的人，赐恩给谦卑的人。

耶和华对耶户说：“因你办好我眼中看为正的事，照我的心意待亚哈家，你的子孙必接续你坐以色列的国位，直到四代。”

敬畏耶和华使人日子加多；但恶人的年岁必被减少。

希西家却没有照他所蒙的恩报答耶和华；因他心里骄傲，所以忿怒要临到他和犹大并耶路撒冷。但希西家和耶路撒冷的居民觉得心里骄傲，就一同自卑，以致耶和华的忿怒在希西家的日子没有临到他们。

然而，因你父亲大卫的缘故，我不在你活着的日子行这事，必从你儿子的手中将国夺回。只是我不将全国夺回，要因我仆人大卫和我所选择的耶路撒冷，还留一支派给你的儿子。”

凡我所吩咐的，你们都要谨守遵行，不可加添，也不可删减。

恶人却不得福乐，也不得长久的年日；这年日好像影儿，因他不敬畏神。

迦勒底人自高自大，心不正直；惟义人因信得生。

撒母耳对扫罗说：“你做了糊涂事了，没有遵守耶和华你神所吩咐你的命令。若遵守，耶和华必在以色列中坚立你的王位，直到永远。现在你的王位必不长久。耶和华已经寻着一个合他心意的人，立他作百姓的君，因为你没有遵守耶和华所吩咐你的。”
