这律法书不可离开你的口，总要昼夜思想，好使你谨守遵行这书上所写的一切话。如此，你的道路就可以亨通，凡事顺利。

惟喜爱耶和华的律法，昼夜思想，这人便为有福！

我何等爱慕你的律法，终日不住地思想。你的命令常存在我心里，使我比仇敌有智慧。我比我的师傅更通达，因我思想你的法度。我比年老的更明白，因我守了你的训词。

你们查考圣经，因你们以为内中有永生；给我作见证的就是这经。

并且知道你是从小明白圣经，这圣经能使你因信基督耶稣，有得救的智慧。圣经都是神所默示的，于教训、督责、使人归正、教导人学义都是有益的，叫属神的人得以完全，预备行各样的善事。

“你们要将我这话存在心内，留在意中，系在手上为记号，戴在额上为经文；

你在何烈山站在耶和华你神面前的那日，耶和华对我说：‘你为我招聚百姓，我要叫他们听见我的话，使他们存活在世的日子，可以学习敬畏我，又可以教训儿女这样行。’

我今日所吩咐你的话都要记在心上，也要殷勤教训你的儿女。无论你坐在家里，行在路上，躺下，起来，都要谈论。也要系在手上为记号，戴在额上为经文；又要写在你房屋的门框上，并你的城门上。”
