以下也是智者的箴言：判案时偏袒实为不善。

彼得说：“现在我深深地明白，上帝不偏待人。

他们善于作恶。领袖和审判官索要贿赂，显贵袒露心中的恶欲，朋比为奸。

你们要学习行善，追求正义，帮助受欺压的，替孤儿辩护，为寡妇申冤。”

“不可在诉讼案中冤枉穷人。不可诬告别人，不可杀害正直无辜的人，因为我必惩罚作恶之人。不可收受贿赂，因为贿赂蒙蔽人的眼目，使人颠倒是非。

因此律法失效，正义不彰，恶人包围义人，正义被扭曲。

保罗却说：“我们是罗马公民，他们不经审讯就当众打我们，又把我们关进牢里，现在却想偷偷打发掉我们吗？这样不行，叫他们亲自来领我们出去！”

保罗对亚拿尼亚说：“你这伪君子，上帝要击打你！你坐在那里不是应当依法审问我吗？你怎么违法叫人打我？”

倘若我仗着在城门口有势力，就动手欺负孤儿，情愿我的肩膀从肩胛脱落，我的手臂从手肘折断。

秉公行义、说话正直、憎恶不义之财、不受贿赂、掩耳不听害人之谋、闭眼不看邪恶之事的人，

如今我站在这里，你们只管在耶和华和祂膏立的王面前为我作证，我夺过谁的牛？抢过谁的驴？欺骗过谁？压迫过谁？收过谁的贿赂而徇私枉法？如果有的话，我一定偿还。”

然而，他们没有效法自己的父亲，而是爱慕不义之财，贪赃枉法。

在你这城中，他们受贿杀人，放债取利，压榨邻居，早把我忘了。这是主耶和华说的。

别无故作证害邻舍，也不可撒谎欺骗人。

我吩咐这些官员要聆听案件，公正地审理同胞之间或与外族人之间的诉讼，不可偏私，不分贵贱，不惧情面，因为判决来自上帝。如果案件太难，可以交给我处理。

你的首领是叛逆之徒，与盗贼为伍，个个收受贿赂，贪图好处，不为孤儿辩护，不替寡妇申冤。

吃得肥胖红润，坏事做尽，不为孤儿申冤，不为穷人主持公道。”

她的首领是咆哮的狮子，她的审判官是夜间的豺狼，不留一点猎物到天明。她的先知是狂妄诡诈之徒，她的祭司亵渎圣殿，违背律法。但城中的耶和华是公义的，祂绝不做不义之事。祂每天早晨伸张正义，从不间断。然而，不义之人却不知羞耻。
