惡人借貸而不償還；義人卻恩待人，並施捨人。

富人管轄窮人；欠債的是債主的奴僕。

因此你將他們交在困迫他們、的人手中，去困迫他們；當他們受困迫的時候、他們向你哀叫，你就從天上垂聽，照你的大憐憫賜給他們拯救者、來拯救他們脫離困迫他們的人的手。

不，你們要愛你們的仇敵，善待他們；要借給他們，絕不期望甚麼。那麼你們的賞報就大了，你們就做了至高者的兒子了；因為他待忘恩負義和邪惡的人都有慈惠。

因為是他做大官在管理大河西邊全地、從提弗薩直到迦薩，他在管理大河西邊的諸王；在他周圍四方他都得享太平。

他終日恩待人，借給人；他的後裔就成了使人蒙祝福的。

從前也曾有王管理耶路撒冷，統轄大河以西那邊全地，貢物賦稅、和服役都進獻給王。

他必借給你，你卻不能借給他；他必做頭，你必做尾。

恩待人、借給人的、這人必有福利；他以公正維持自己的事務。

所羅門統管諸王，從大河到非利士地、直到埃及的邊界。
