豁免的辦法乃是這樣：凡債主都要把所借給鄰舍的鬆手豁免掉，不可向鄰舍和族弟兄追討，因為所宣告的是永恆主的豁免。

此豁免年之例如斯、凡貸金於鄰與兄弟、兄弟或作同國之人下同此年必豁免、毋相逼索債、因是年稱為主之豁免年、

This is how it is to be done: Every creditor shall cancel any loan they have made to a fellow Israelite. They shall not require payment from anyone among their own people, because the Lord’s time for canceling debts has been proclaimed.

Have you made a loan to one of your own people? Then forgive what is owed to you. You can’t require that person to pay you back. The Lord’ s time to forgive what is owed has been announced.

And this is the manner of the release: every creditor shall release what he has lent to his neighbor. He shall not exact it of his neighbor, his brother, because the Lord’s release has been proclaimed.

This is how it must be done. Everyone must cancel the loans they have made to their fellow Israelites. They must not demand payment from their neighbors or relatives, for the Lord’s time of release has arrived.

This is how to cancel debt: Every creditor is to cancel what he has lent his neighbor. He is not to collect anything from his neighbor or brother, because the LORD’s release of debts has been proclaimed.

And this is the regulation for the release of debts: every creditor is to forgive what he has loaned to his neighbor; he shall not require it of his neighbor and his brother, because the Lord’s release has been proclaimed.

And this is the form of the release: Every creditor who has lent anything to his neighbor shall release it; he shall not require it of his neighbor or his brother, because it is called the LORD’s release.

And this is the manner of the release: every creditor shall release that which he hath lent unto his neighbor; he shall not exact it of his neighbor and his brother; because Jehovah’s release hath been proclaimed.

你們若借錢給人，指望能從他們收還，有甚麼可酬謝的？就是「罪人」也借錢給「罪人」要收回相等的呀。不，你們要愛你們的仇敵，善待他們；要借給他們，絕不期望甚麼。那麼你們的賞報就大了，你們就做了至高者的兒子了；因為他待忘恩負義和邪惡的人都有慈惠。你們要有憐憫的心，正像你們的父有憐憫的心一樣。『別論斷了，就決不受論斷；別定人的罪了，就決不受定罪；要釋放，你們就會得釋放；要給予，就必有給予你們的，必用好的量器，連搖帶按、上尖下流地倒在你們衣兜裏給你們。因為你們用甚麼量器來量、也必有用甚麼量器量給你們的。』

都沒有可償還的，債主就把兩個都恩免了；那麼、他們哪一個要多愛他呢？』

對於不行憐恤的人、審判是沒有憐恤的：行憐恤，憐恤就超審判而誇勝了。

你們這些踐踏窮人，要使國中困苦人滅絕的啊，聽以下這話哦！你們說：『初一日幾時過去，我們好賣糧食？安息日幾時過去，我們好擺開麥子？賣出用小升斗，收銀用大戥子，用詭詐的天平來騙人，好用銀子收買貧寒人，用一雙鞋換得窮苦人，將棄置為垃圾的麥子賣給人？』

我心裏有了主張之後，就譴責顯貴的人和官長，說：『你們各人用錢借給自己的族弟兄，竟向他索取利息啊。』於是我召集了大會來責備他們。我對他們說：『我們已盡了力量來贖回我們的族弟兄猶大人、那些賣給外國人的；你們、你們還要賣你們的族弟兄，好讓他們又賣回給我們麼？』他們都不作聲，找不着話來說。我又說：『你們所行的這事很不好；你們行事為人、豈不當存着敬畏我們的上帝的心，以避免我們的仇敵、外國人、的毁謗麼？我也如此；我的族弟兄和僮僕也曾將銀錢五穀借給人呀。我們都放棄這利息吧。我勸你們就在今天將他們的田地、葡萄園、橄欖園和房屋、跟你們所向他們索取的銀錢、五穀、新酒、新油的利息都歸還給他們吧。』

因為沒有可償還的，主人就發命令叫他把自己、連妻子帶兒女都賣了做奴僕，並賣所有的一切、來償還。那奴僕就俯伏拜他說：「主啊，寬容我吧，一切我都要還你」。那奴僕的主人動了憐憫的心，就釋放他，免了他的借款。但那奴僕出來，遇見他的一個同伴，欠他一百日工錢的，便抓着他，掐住他的喉嚨，說：「你所欠的，都要還！」他的同伴就俯伏求他說：「寬容我吧，我要還你」。他卻不肯，反而去，設法把他下在監裏，等他還了所欠的債。同做奴僕的見了所經過的事，就極其憂愁；去把所經過的一切事都給主人講明。於是主人叫他來，對他說：「惡奴才，因你求了我，那全部的債我都免了你；你豈不應當憐恤和你同做奴僕的，像我憐恤你麼？」主人發怒，就把他送交司刑官，等他償還所欠的一切債。你們若不從心裏各人饒恕他的弟兄，我天父也必這樣待你們。』

他們說：「為甚麼我們禁食，而你不看呢？為甚麼我們刻苦自己，而你不理會呢？」嘿，你們禁食的日子、仍然追求所喜歡作的事！逕自壓迫一切為你們作苦工的人！

『因為你們若饒恕人的過犯，你們的天父也必饒恕你們的過犯。你們若不饒恕人的過犯，你們的父也不饒恕你們的過犯。

免了我們的罪債，如同我們也免了欠我們罪債的人。
