If any of your people— Hebrew men or women— sell themselves to you and serve you six years, in the seventh year you must let them go free.

Suppose any Hebrew men or women sell themselves to you. If they do, they will serve you for six years. Then in the seventh year you must let them go free.

你若買希伯來人做奴僕，他要服事你六年；第七年他就可以自由，免費地出去。他若單身來，就可以單身出去；他若是有妻子的夫君，他的妻子就可以同他出去。他主人若給他妻子，妻子又給他生兒養女，那麼妻子和孩子就要歸主人，他自己要單身地出去。倘若那奴僕明明地說：「我愛我主人、和我妻子兒女，我不要出去自由」，那麼他主人就要帶他到官長那裏，又帶他到門前，或是門柱旁；他主人要用錐子穿他的耳朵，他就得永遠服事主人。

『每七年的末一年、你要施行債務之豁免、

奴隸不永遠住在家裏；兒子永遠住着。所以兒子若使你們得自主，你們就真地自主了。
