so that the Levites( who have no allotment or inheritance of their own) and the foreigners, the fatherless and the widows who live in your towns may come and eat and be satisfied, and so that the Lord your God may bless you in all the work of your hands.

Then the Levites can come and eat. That’s because they won’t receive any part of the land as their share. The outsiders and widows who live in your towns can come. So can the children whose fathers have died. Everyone can have plenty to eat. Then the Lord your God will bless you in everything you do.

And the Levite, because he has no portion or inheritance with you, and the sojourner, the fatherless, and the widow, who are within your towns, shall come and eat and be filled, that the Lord your God may bless you in all the work of your hands that you do.

Give it to the Levites, who will receive no allotment of land among you, as well as to the foreigners living among you, the orphans, and the widows in your towns, so they can eat and be satisfied. Then the Lord your God will bless you in all your work.

Then the Levite, who has no portion or inheritance among you, the resident alien, the fatherless, and the widow within your city gates may come, eat, and be satisfied. And the LORD your God will bless you in all the work of your hands that you do.

眷顧貧乏者福兮、彼遭患難、耶和華救之兮、

爾穫田所產、有遺一束、毋反以取、必留於賓旅孤寡、則爾所為、爾上帝耶和華必錫純嘏。既撲橄欖樹、毋庸復撲、摘葡萄果、毋得再摘、所遺者、必留於賓旅孤寡、

常柔遠人、蓋亦有不知其為天使而接之者、

爾與子女僕婢、必欣喜在爾上帝耶和華前。利未人主於爾家者、既無恆業、亦必使同樂。

又謂請之者曰、爾設午餐或晚餐、勿請朋友、兄弟、親戚、富鄰、恐酬爾而受報也、惟設饌、請貧乏、廢疾、跛者、瞽者、則爾福矣、蓋彼不能報爾、而義人復生時、爾得報也、○

貧者所欲我施之、嫠者所望我遂之。簞食之微、不敢自食、亦必與孤子共。我自幼時、撫人之孤、助人之嫠。我見流民無衣、貧者無服、衣以羊毛、俾暖其體、而祝謝我、雖在公庭、左右環立、我未嘗鞭扑孤子。如我有此、願我肩脫於缺盆骨、臂脫於羊矢骨。

有散財而增富厚、有惜財而致貧乏、

以所有之初實、供於耶和華、則爾之倉廩、必得充盈、爾之酒醡、新釀流溢。

饑者食之、貧者寓之、裸者衣之、戚屬遭難、毋掩面而不睹。則爾之光明、必如平旦、爾之沉痾、一朝頓失、爾之仁義、護爾於前、我之榮光、衛爾於後。如爾待人不虐遇、不譏訕、不讒毀、則爾呼籲我、我應甚速、若在左右、如爾大發仁心、賑饑濟困、則爾之暗、可變為光、赫然若日方中。我恆導爾以行、雖至槁壞、必若園囿、源泉不竭、灌溉有資、俾爾果腹、筋骸堅固。傾圮之邑、歷代荒蕪、維爾赤子、重加建造、城垣已毀、爾築之、逵衢已斷、爾修之、

當視若宗族、愛之如己、緣爾昔旅於埃及故也、我耶和華爾之上帝、所命如此。

余嘗曰、少稼少穡、多稼多穡、各隨其願、毋憂慮、毋勉強、上帝所愛者、樂助也。上帝能加恩與爾、令爾恆足、萬善備於己、經云彼散財矣、彼濟貧矣、義乃永存、主固加種與播者、賜糧與食者、今願以所播之種、加多與爾、為義之效、增益助爾、令爾得以博施、我聚而散之、俾受之者謝上帝、

每三年、以土所產、十輸其一、給於利未人、及賓旅孤寡、使食於爾家、以果其腹。既畢其事、則於爾上帝耶和華前告曰、所當獻之物、已出之我家、給於利未人及賓旅孤寡、循爾所命、無所干犯、並弗遺忘所當獻之物、

惟眷顧孤寡於患難間、處世而自守無玷、是誠虔共、無纖垢於父上帝前、

爾自以為吾取盤中之物、以分人、則無不潔矣、

毋侮旅人、緣昔爾曹旅於埃及故也。勿欺孤寡、若欺之、則其籲我、我必聽聞。我怒必烈、以刃誅爾、寡爾妻、孤爾子。

敵爾者、愛之、善視之、借不望償、則爾賞大矣、爾將為至上者之子、蓋彼仁及辜恩不善之人、

萬有之主耶和華曰、當納什一、入於府庫、使在我室、得有甘旨、以是試我、待我破天之隙、使盈餘之福、傾注而下、不可勝數。萬有之主耶和華曰、我必因爾之故、責彼蝗蟲、不壤爾之土產、不使爾之葡萄、果實零落、
