Do not eat anything you find already dead. You may give it to the foreigner residing in any of your towns, and they may eat it, or you may sell it to any other foreigner. But you are a people holy to the Lord your God. Do not cook a young goat in its mother’s milk.

If you find something that’s already dead, don’t eat it. You can give it to an outsider living in any of your towns. They may eat it. Or you can sell it to someone from another country. But you are a holy nation. The Lord your God has set you apart for himself. Don’t cook a young goat in its mother’s milk.

“ You shall not eat anything that has died naturally. You may give it to the sojourner who is within your towns, that he may eat it, or you may sell it to a foreigner. For you are a people holy to the Lord your God.“ You shall not boil a young goat in its mother’s milk.

“ You must not eat anything that has died a natural death. You may give it to a foreigner living in your town, or you may sell it to a stranger. But do not eat it yourselves, for you are set apart as holy to the Lord your God.“ You must not cook a young goat in its mother’s milk.

他不可吃自然死亡或被野獸撕裂的動物，否則就不潔淨。我是耶和華。

不論以色列人還是外族人，若吃了自然死亡或被野獸撕裂的動物，就不潔淨。他必須洗衣、沐浴，等到傍晚才能潔淨，

因為你們是屬於你們的上帝耶和華的聖潔子民，祂從天下萬族中揀選你們作祂寶貴的產業。

我說：「唉，主耶和華啊！我從來沒有玷污過自己，我自幼至今從未吃過自然死去的或被野獸撕碎的動物，不潔淨的肉從未入過我的口。」

他勢力強大，卻不是靠自己的力量。他必帶來可怕的毀滅，而且凡事亨通，他必毀滅強者和聖民。

耶和華對摩西和亞倫說：「以下是逾越節的條例。「所有外族人都不可吃逾越節的羊羔，但那些買來的奴隸若接受了割禮，就可以吃。寄居的外族人和雇用的工人不可吃。

我們只須寫信吩咐他們遠避被偶像玷污之物，不可淫亂，不可吃血和勒死的牲畜。

我聽見身穿細麻衣、站在河水之上的人向天舉起雙手，憑永活者起誓說：「再過三年半，等摧毀聖民的權勢結束時，這一切事都要成就。」

你們不可追隨世界的潮流，要隨著思想的不斷更新而改變，這樣就能明辨上帝的旨意，知道什麼是良善、純全、蒙祂悅納的。

不可欺負住在你們境內的外族人，要視他們如同胞，愛他們如愛自己，因為你們也曾經寄居埃及。我是你們的上帝耶和華。

因為聖經上說：「你們要聖潔，因為我是聖潔的。」
