彼事其神、凡主所憎所惡之事皆作、甚至焚子女於火、以事其神、爾事主爾之天主、斷不可如是而行、

不可附和羣眾作惡；不可在訴訟中附和羣眾歪曲公正，作歪曲的見證；

他們厭棄他的律例，和他與他們列祖所立的約，以及他勸戒他們的話，去隨從虛無的神明，自己成為虛妄，效法周圍的列國，就是耶和華囑咐他們不可效法的。他們離棄耶和華－他們上帝的一切誡命，為自己鑄造了兩個牛犢的像，立了亞舍拉，敬拜天上的萬象，事奉巴力，使他們的兒女經火，占卜，行法術，出賣自己，行耶和華眼中看為惡的事，惹他發怒。

你們不可那樣敬拜耶和華－你們的上帝。

這樣，我必止息你的淫行和你從埃及地就開始犯的淫亂，使你不再仰望亞述，也不再追念埃及。

「你到了耶和華－你上帝所賜你之地，不可學那些國家行可憎惡的事。你中間不可有人使兒女經火，也不可有占卜的、觀星象的、行法術的、行邪術的、

你能進去得他們的地，並不是因你的義，也不是因你心裏正直，而是因這些國家的惡，耶和華－你的上帝才把他們從你面前趕出去，為了應驗耶和華向你列祖亞伯拉罕、以撒、雅各起誓應許的話。」

但你們要遵守我的律例典章。這一切可憎惡的事，無論是本地人或寄居在你們中間的外人，都不可以做。在你們之前居住那地的人做了這一切可憎惡的事，地就玷污了。不要讓地因你們玷污了它而把你們吐出來，像吐出在你們之前的國一樣。無論是誰，若做了這其中一件可憎惡的事，必從百姓中剪除。你們要遵守我的吩咐，免得你們隨從那些可憎的習俗，就是在你們之前的人所做的，玷污了自己。我是耶和華－你們的上帝。」

他行耶和華眼中看為惡的事，效法耶和華在以色列人面前趕出的列國那些可憎的事。

眾祭司長和百姓也多多犯罪，效法列國一切可憎的事，玷污耶和華在耶路撒冷分別為聖的殿。

耶和華豈喜悅千千的公羊，或是萬萬的油河嗎？我豈可為自己的過犯獻我的長子，為自己的罪惡獻我所親生的嗎？」

不可使你兒女經火獻給摩洛，也不可褻瀆你上帝的名。我是耶和華。

「你要對以色列人說：凡以色列人，或是寄居在以色列的外人，把自己兒女獻給摩洛的，必被處死；本地的百姓要用石頭打死他。

瑪拿西行耶和華眼中看為惡的事，效法耶和華在以色列人面前趕出的列國那些可憎的事。

當你們獻上供物，使你們兒子經火的時候，你們仍用各樣的偶像玷污自己，直到今日。以色列家啊，我豈能讓你們求問呢？主耶和華說：我指着我的永生起誓，我必不讓你們求問。
