Fix these words of mine in your hearts and minds; tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads.

要將基督的話豐豐富富地存在心裡，用各樣智慧彼此教導，互相勸誡，以感恩的心用詩篇、聖樂、靈歌頌讚上帝。

要將我今天吩咐你們的話牢記在心，並教導你們的兒女，無論在家在外，或起或臥，都要講論這些律例和誡命。要把它們繫在手上、戴在額上作記號，要寫在城門上和自家的門框上。

親愛的弟兄姊妹，我現在寫給你們的是第二封信。這兩封信都是為了提醒你們，激勵你們保持真誠的心，叫你們記得從前聖先知們說的預言，以及我們的主和救主藉著派到你們那裡的使徒所傳給你們的誡命。

我把你的話珍藏在心中，免得我得罪你。

雖然你們已經知道這些事，並且在所領受的真道上也很堅固，但我還是要常常提醒你們。

孩子啊，不要忘記我的訓言，要把我的誡命存在心裡，

這節期就好像在你們手上或額上作的記號，叫你們記得耶和華的律法，祂曾經用大能的手把你們帶出埃及。

遵守我的誡命，你便存活。要愛護我的訓言，如愛護眼中的瞳人。要繫在你的指頭上，刻在你的心版上。

孩子啊，要遵守你父親的誡命，不可背棄你母親的訓言。你要常常將這些刻在心坎上，繫在頸項上。你行走，它們必引領你；你躺臥，它們必護衛你；你醒來，它們必與你交談。因為誡命是燈，訓言是光，管教責備是生命之道，

「要謹記我今天警告你們的話，要吩咐你們的子孫謹遵這律法上的話。

這事就像在你們手上作記號，額上作標記，以牢記耶和華曾用大能的手領我們離開埃及。」

因此，我們必須更加重視所聽的道，以免隨流漂去。

「他們的所作所為是為了給人看的，他們把額上佩戴的經文盒子加寬了，又將衣裳的穗邊加長了。
