That is why the Levites have no share or inheritance among their fellow Israelites; the Lord is their inheritance, as the Lord your God told them.)

『祭司不可有產業：我就是他們的產業；在以色列中不可給他們基業：我就是他們的基業。

『祭司利未人、利未全族派、必不同以色列人一樣有分有業；他們喫的、是人獻與永恆主的火祭和他的其他產業。利未人在他的族弟兄中必須沒有產業；永恆主就是他的產業，照永恆主對他所應許過的。

因為摩西在約但河東邊已經把產業分給那兩個支派和半個支派；卻沒有把產業分給他們中間的利未人。

利未人中、從一個月和以上的一切男丁、被點閱的、有二萬三千。他們在以色列人中原來沒有被點閱，因為在以色列人中、沒有產業給予他們。

永恆主對亞倫說：『你在以色列人之地不可承受土地為業，在他們中間你也不可有分；在以色列人中、我就是你的分，你承受的業。』『對利未子孫呢、看哪，我已經將以色列中所有的十分之一獻物賜給他們做產業，作為他們所辦理的事務——會棚事務——的報酬。從今以後、以色列人就不可走近會棚，免得他們擔當罪罰而死。惟獨利未人要辦理會棚的事務，他們要擔當他們可能失錯的罪罰；這要做你們世世代代永遠的條例；在以色列人中、他們不可有產業。因為以色列人的十分之一獻物，就是他們獻與永恆主的提獻物、我已經賜給利未人做產業；所以我對他們說、在以色列人中他們不可有產業。』
