He is the one you praise; he is your God, who performed for you those great and awesome wonders you saw with your own eyes.

He is the one you should praise. He’s your God. With your own eyes you saw the great and amazing things he did for you.

What one nation in the earth is like your people, even like Israel, whom God went to redeem to himself for a people, and to make himself a name, and to do great things for you, and awesome things for your land, before your people, whom you redeemed to yourself out of Egypt, from the nations and their gods?

But you are holy, you who inhabit the praises of Israel.

who performed signs and wonders in the land of Egypt, even to this day, both in Israel and among other men; and made yourself a name, as it is today;and brought your people Israel out of the land of Egypt with signs, with wonders, with a strong hand, with an outstretched arm, and with great terror;

The sun will be no more your light by day; nor will the brightness of the moon give light to you, but Yahweh will be your everlasting light, and your God will be your glory.

Only fear Yahweh, and serve him in truth with all your heart; for consider what great things he has done for you.

God of my praise, don’t remain silent,

For ask now of the days that are past, which were before you, since the day that God created man on the earth, and from the one end of the sky to the other, whether there has been anything as great as this thing is, or has been heard like it?Did a people ever hear the voice of God speaking out of the middle of the fire, as you have heard, and live?Or has God tried to go and take a nation for himself from among another nation, by trials, by signs, by wonders, by war, by a mighty hand, by an outstretched arm, and by great terrors, according to all that Yahweh your God did for you in Egypt before your eyes?It was shown to you so that you might know that Yahweh is God. There is no one else besides him.

Behold, God is my salvation. When you did awesome things which we didn’t look for, you came down, and the mountains quaked at your presence.

The city has no need for the sun or moon to shine, for the very glory of God illuminated it, and its lamp is the Lamb.
