你要把我赐给你的法版放在柜里。你要用纯金做施恩座，长一百一十公分，宽六十六公分。你要用黄金锤成两个基路伯，放在施恩座的两端。这端做个基路伯，那端做个基路伯，二基路伯要与施恩座连在一起制造，在施恩座的两端。二基路伯要在上面展开双翼，遮掩施恩座，基路伯的脸要彼此相对，他们的脸要朝着施恩座。你要把施恩座安放在柜顶，又要把我赐给你的法版放在柜里。我要在那里和你相会，也要从施恩座上面，从二基路伯之间，告诉你一切我命令你传给以色列人的事。

约柜里面只有两块石版，这两块石版在以色列人出埃及地以后，耶和华与他们立约的时候，摩西在何烈山放在那里的。

于是我转身从山上下来，把石版放在我所做的柜中，照着耶和华吩咐我的，现在石版还放在那里。

里面有金香坛，有全部包金的约柜，柜里有盛着吗哪的金罐、亚伦那发过芽的杖和两块约板。

摩西拿了法版，放在柜里，把杠穿在柜的两旁，把施恩座安放在约柜上面。

把他的约，就是他吩咐你们遵守的那十条诫命（“十条诫命”直译是“十句话”），向你们宣布出来；又把它们写在两块石版上。
