At that time the Lord said to me,“ Chisel out two stone tablets like the first ones and come up to me on the mountain. Also make a wooden ark.

“ At that time the Lord said to me,‘ Cut out for yourself two tablets of stone like the first two, and come up to Me on the mountain, and make an ark of wood for yourself.

“ At that time the Lord said to me,‘ Hew for yourself two tablets of stone like the first, and come up to Me on the mountain and make yourself an ark of wood.

At that time Jehovah said unto me, Hew thee two tables of stone like unto the first, and come up unto me into the mount, and make thee an ark of wood.

“ The Lord said to me at that time,‘ Cut two stone tablets like the first ones and come to Me on the mountain and make a wooden ark.

耶和华对摩西说：“你要凿出两块石版，好像先前的一样，我要把先前写在你摔碎了的石版上的字写在这两块石版上。早晨之前，你要预备好了；到早晨的时候，你要上到西奈山来，在山顶上站在我面前。

“他们要用皂荚木做一个柜，长一百一十公分，宽六十六公分，高六十六公分。你要用纯金包柜，内外都要包上；柜上的四围要做金边。你要铸造四个金环，安放在柜的四脚上，两个环在这边，两个环在那边。你要用皂荚木做几根柜杠，并要用金包裹起来。你要把柜杠穿在柜旁的环中，以便用杠抬柜。柜杠要常留在柜的环中，不可抽出环外。

摩西就凿了两块石版，好像先前的一样。他一早起来，照着耶和华吩咐他的，上到西奈山去，手里拿着两块石版。

于是我用皂荚木做了一个柜，又凿出了两块石版，和先前的一样；然后我手里拿着这两块石版，上山去了。耶和华把先前所写的，就是在集会的日子，在山上从火中告诉你们的十诫，都写在这两块版上；耶和华把石版交给了我。

里面有金香坛，有全部包金的约柜，柜里有盛着吗哪的金罐、亚伦那发过芽的杖和两块约板。
