I prayed to the LORD my God and confessed: Ah, Lord— the great and awe-inspiring God who keeps his gracious covenant with those who love him and keep his commands—

我向耶和华我的神祷告、认罪，说：“主啊！伟大可畏的神，你向那些爱你（“你”原文作“他”），遵守你（“你”原文作“他”）诫命的人守约施慈爱。

我向耶和华我的神祷告、认罪，说：“哦，主啊，大而可畏的神，你向那些爱你并遵守你诫命的人持守你的约和慈爱！

我向耶和華－我的神祈禱、認罪，說：「主啊，大而可畏的神，向愛主、守主誡命的人守約施慈愛。

我向耶和華－我的上帝祈禱、認罪，說：「主啊，你是大而可畏的上帝，向愛主、守主誡命的人守約施慈愛。

我向我的上帝耶和華禱告、認罪，說：「主啊，你是偉大而可畏的上帝，你向那些愛你、遵守你誡命的人信守你的慈愛之約。

我向耶和華我的神禱告、認罪，說：“主啊！偉大可畏的神，你向那些愛你（“你”原文作“他”），遵守你（“你”原文作“他”）誡命的人守約施慈愛。

我向永恆主我的上帝祈禱認罪，說：『哦，主啊，至大、至可畏懼的上帝啊，向愛你守你誡命的人守約守堅愛的啊，

我向耶和華我的神禱告、認罪，說：「哦，主啊，大而可畏的神，你向那些愛你並遵守你誡命的人持守你的約和慈愛！

遂禱我上帝耶和華、認罪曰、主歟、尊大可畏之上帝、愛主而遵主命者、為之踐約施恩、

自陳罪戾、求我之上帝耶和華曰、至大之主上帝、深可畏懼、凡敬愛乎主、恪守律法、則爾矜憫之、必踐所言、

禱告主我之天主、自陳罪愆、曰、主歟、至大可畏之天主、為敬愛主謹守主命者、踐約施恩、

I prayed to the Lord my God and confessed:“ Lord, the great and awesome God, who keeps his covenant of love with those who love him and keep his commandments,

I prayed to the Lord my God. I admitted that we had sinned. I said,“ Lord, you are a great and wonderful God. You keep the covenant you made with all those who love you and obey your commandments. You show them your love.

I prayed to the Lord my God and made confession, saying,“ O Lord, the great and awesome God, who keeps covenant and steadfast love with those who love him and keep his commandments,

I prayed to the Lord my God and confessed:“ O Lord, you are a great and awesome God! You always fulfill your covenant and keep your promises of unfailing love to those who love you and obey your commands.

I prayed to the Lord my God and confessed, and said,“ Oh, Lord, the great and awesome God, who keeps His covenant and faithfulness for those who love Him and keep His commandments,

And I prayed to the Lord my God, and made confession, and said,“ O Lord, great and awesome God, who keeps His covenant and mercy with those who love Him, and with those who keep His commandments,

And I prayed unto Jehovah my God, and made confession, and said, Oh, Lord, the great and dreadful God, who keepeth covenant and lovingkindness with them that love him and keep his commandments,

I prayed to the Lord my God and confessed: Ah, Lord— the great and awe-inspiring God who keeps His gracious covenant with those who love Him and keep His commands—

And I prayed unto the LORD my God, and made my confession, and said, O Lord, the great and dreadful God, keeping the covenant and mercy to them that love him, and to them that keep his commandments;

I prayed to the LORD my God, confessing in this way:“ O Lord, great and awesome God who is faithful to his covenant with those who love him and keep his commandments,

I prayed to Yahweh my God, and made confession, and said,“ Oh, Lord, the great and dreadful God, who keeps covenant and loving kindness with those who love him and keep his commandments,

We know that all things work together for the good of those who love God, who are called according to his purpose.

but showing faithful love to a thousand generations of those who love me and keep my commands.

Oh, Lord GOD! You yourself made the heavens and earth by your great power and with your outstretched arm. Nothing is too difficult for you!You show faithful love to thousands but lay the fathers’ iniquity on their sons’ laps after them, great and mighty God whose name is the LORD of Armies,the one great in counsel and powerful in action. Your eyes are on all the ways of the children of men in order to reward each person according to his ways and as the result of his actions.

we have sinned, done wrong, acted wickedly, rebelled, and turned away from your commands and ordinances.We have not listened to your servants the prophets, who spoke in your name to our kings, leaders, ancestors, and all the people of the land.Lord, righteousness belongs to you, but this day public shame belongs to us: the men of Judah, the residents of Jerusalem, and all Israel— those who are near and those who are far, in all the countries where you have banished them because of the disloyalty they have shown toward you.LORD, public shame belongs to us, our kings, our leaders, and our ancestors, because we have sinned against you.Compassion and forgiveness belong to the Lord our God, though we have rebelled against himand have not obeyed the LORD our God by following his instructions that he set before us through his servants the prophets.All Israel has broken your law and turned away, refusing to obey you. The promised curse written in the law of Moses, the servant of God, has been poured out on us because we have sinned against him.He has carried out his words that he spoke against us and against our rulers by bringing on us a disaster that is so great that nothing like what has been done to Jerusalem has ever been done under all of heaven.

Know that the LORD your God is God, the faithful God who keeps his gracious covenant loyalty for a thousand generations with those who love him and keep his commands.

So now, our God— the great, mighty, and awe-inspiring God who keeps his gracious covenant— do not view lightly all the hardships that have afflicted us, our kings and leaders, our priests and prophets, our ancestors and all your people, from the days of the Assyrian kings until today.

The LORD passed in front of him and proclaimed: The LORD— the LORD is a compassionate and gracious God, slow to anger and abounding in faithful love and truth,maintaining faithful love to a thousand generations, forgiving iniquity, rebellion, and sin. But he will not leave the guilty unpunished, bringing the consequences of the fathers’ iniquity on the children and grandchildren to the third and fourth generation.

He said: LORD God of Israel, there is no God like you in heaven above or on earth below, who keeps the gracious covenant with your servants who walk before you with all their heart.

and my people, who bear my name, humble themselves, pray and seek my face, and turn from their evil ways, then I will hear from heaven, forgive their sin, and heal their land.

Then I acknowledged my sin to you and did not conceal my iniquity. I said,“ I will confess my transgressions to the LORD,” and you forgave the guilt of my sin. Selah

The LORD is slow to anger and abounding in faithful love, forgiving iniquity and rebellion. But he will not leave the guilty unpunished, bringing the consequences of the fathers’ iniquity on the children to the third and fourth generation.Please pardon the iniquity of this people, in keeping with the greatness of your faithful love, just as you have forgiven them from Egypt until now.”

Those of Israelite descent separated themselves from all foreigners, and they stood and confessed their sins and the iniquities of their ancestors.While they stood in their places, they read from the book of the law of the LORD their God for a fourth of the day and spent another fourth of the day in confession and worship of the LORD their God.

If we say,“ We have no sin,” we are deceiving ourselves, and the truth is not in us.If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.If we say,“ We have not sinned,” we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.

Who is a God like you, forgiving iniquity and passing over rebellion for the remnant of his inheritance? He does not hold on to his anger forever because he delights in faithful love.He will again have compassion on us; he will vanquish our iniquities. You will cast all our sins into the depths of the sea.You will show loyalty to Jacob and faithful love to Abraham, as you swore to our ancestors from days long ago.

“ But when they confess their iniquity and the iniquity of their ancestors— their unfaithfulness that they practiced against me, and how they acted with hostility toward me,and I acted with hostility toward them and brought them into the land of their enemies— and when their uncircumcised hearts are humbled and they make amends for their iniquity,then I will remember my covenant with Jacob. I will also remember my covenant with Isaac and my covenant with Abraham, and I will remember the land.

Don’t be terrified of them, for the LORD your God, a great and awesome God, is among you.

I said, LORD, the God of the heavens, the great and awe-inspiring God who keeps his gracious covenant with those who love him and keep his commands,

Blessed is the one who endures trials, because when he has stood the test he will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love him.

The LORD is a jealous and avenging God; the LORD takes vengeance and is fierce in wrath. The LORD takes vengeance against his foes; he is furious with his enemies.The LORD is slow to anger but great in power; the LORD will never leave the guilty unpunished. His path is in the whirlwind and storm, and clouds are the dust beneath his feet.He rebukes the sea and dries it up, and he makes all the rivers run dry. Bashan and Carmel wither; even the flower of Lebanon withers.The mountains quake before him, and the hills melt; the earth trembles at his presence— the world and all who live in it.Who can withstand his indignation? Who can endure his burning anger? His wrath is poured out like fire; even rocks are shattered before him.The LORD is good, a stronghold in a day of distress; he cares for those who take refuge in him.

He has dealt mercifully with our ancestors and remembered his holy covenant—

Listen, my dear brothers and sisters: Didn’t God choose the poor in this world to be rich in faith and heirs of the kingdom that he has promised to those who love him?

and when they come to their senses in the land where they were deported and repent and petition you in their captors’ land:“ We have sinned and done wrong; we have been wicked,”and when they return to you with all their heart and all their soul in the land of their enemies who took them captive, and when they pray to you in the direction of their land that you gave their ancestors, the city you have chosen, and the temple I have built for your name,may you hear in heaven, your dwelling place, their prayer and petition and uphold their cause.

This is how we know that we love God’s children: when we love God and obey his commands.For this is what love for God is: to keep his commands. And his commands are not a burden,

Only acknowledge your guilt— you have rebelled against the LORD your God. You have scattered your favors to strangers under every green tree and have not obeyed me. This is the LORD’s declaration.
