到了献晚祭的时候，以利亚先知近前来，说：“亚伯拉罕、以撒、以色列的神耶和华，求你今天使人知道你是在以色列中的神，我是你的仆人，又是奉你的命令行这一切事。

忽然有一位像人的，摸我的嘴唇，我就开口和那站在我面前的交谈，说：“我主啊！因着这异象，我非常痛苦，毫无气力。

天使不都是服役的灵，奉差遣为那些要承受救恩的人效劳吗？

有一天，大约下午三点钟，他在异象中，清清楚楚看见神的一位天使来到他那里，对他说：“哥尼流！”

在他上面有撒拉弗侍立，各有六个翅膀；用两个翅膀遮脸，两个翅膀遮脚，两个翅膀飞翔。

第一只羊你要在早晨献上；第二只在傍晚的时候献上，

他和我说话的时候，我沉睡了，脸伏在地；他触摸我，使我站起来。

你们作他天使的，就是那些大有能力，行他所吩咐，以及听从他命令的，都要称颂耶和华。

有一个撒拉弗飞到我面前，手里拿着烧红的炭，是用火钳从祭坛上取来的。他用炭沾我的口，说：“看哪！这炭沾了你的嘴唇，你的罪孽就除掉，你的罪恶就赦免了。”

论到天使，说：“神以他的天使为风，以他的仆役为火焰。”

所有因着以色列神针对被掳归回的人之不忠、对他们所说的话而战兢的人，都聚集到我面前。我惊惧地坐着，直到献晚祭的时候。“献晚祭的时候，我在禁食中起来，穿着撕裂了的衣服和外袍，双膝跪下，向耶和华我的神张开双手，

大约三点钟，耶稣大声呼叫：“以利，以利，拉马撒巴各大尼？”意思是“我的神，我的神，你为什么离弃我？”

它们的脸孔就是这样。它们向上展开翅膀，各自用两个翅膀互相接触，用两个翅膀遮蔽身体。

你用风作你的使者，用火焰作你的仆役。

忽然，有主的一位使者出现，牢房里就光芒四射。天使拍拍彼得的肋旁，唤醒他，说：“快起来！”他手上的锁链就脱落了。

那位像人的再摸我，使我有力量。

四个活物往来奔走，好像闪电。

在下午三点祷告的时辰，彼得和约翰上圣殿去。

忽然有一只手按在我身上，使我用膝和手掌勉强支持着要站起来。

第二天，大约正午，他们走近那座城的时候，彼得上了房顶去祷告。
