彼遂近我所立之處、既至、我則懼、面伏於地、彼謂我曰、人子歟、其知此異象、因關乎末期也、

彼至我所、我懼俯伏於地、彼曰人子宜曉然所見之異象、乃指末日之事、

彼至我立之所、彼來時、我甚懼、面伏於地、彼告我曰、人子、當知此異象、末期必應、末期必應或作乃指末期之事

As he came near the place where I was standing, I was terrified and fell prostrate.“ Son of man,” he said to me,“ understand that the vision concerns the time of the end.”

Gabriel came close to where I was standing. I was terrified and fell down flat with my face toward the ground. Here is what he said to me.“ Son of man, I want you to understand the vision. It’s about the time of the end.”

So he came near where I stood. And when he came, I was frightened and fell on my face. But he said to me,“ Understand, O son of man, that the vision is for the time of the end.”

As Gabriel approached the place where I was standing, I became so terrified that I fell with my face to the ground.“ Son of man,” he said,“ you must understand that the events you have seen in your vision relate to the time of the end.”

So he approached where I was standing; when he came near, I was terrified and fell facedown.“ Son of man,” he said to me,“ understand that the vision refers to the time of the end.”

So he came near to where I was standing, and when he came I was frightened and fell on my face; and he said to me,“ Son of man, understand that the vision pertains to the time of the end.”

So he came near where I stood, and when he came I was afraid and fell on my face; but he said to me,“ Understand, son of man, that the vision refers to the time of the end.”

So he came near where I stood; and when he came, I was affrighted, and fell upon my face: but he said unto me, Understand, O son of man; for the vision belongeth to the time of the end.

So he approached where I was standing; when he came near, I was terrified and fell facedown.“ Son of man,” he said to me,“ understand that the vision refers to the time of the end.”

So he came near where I stood: and when he came, I was afraid, and fell upon my face: but he said unto me, Understand, O son of man: for at the time of the end[ shall be] the vision.

So he approached the place where I was standing. As he came, I felt terrified and fell flat on the ground. Then he said to me,“ Understand, son of man, that the vision pertains to the time of the end.”

So he came near where I stood; and when he came, I was frightened, and fell on my face; but he said to me,“ Understand, son of man; for the vision belongs to the time of the end.”

他說：「看哪，我要使你明白在那憤怒的末期將要發生的事，因為這是關於所定的末後時期。

但以理啊！你當隱藏這些話語，封住這書卷，直到末後的時期；必有許多人往來奔走，知識也必增多。」

那些明達的人中有一些倒下，是為了熬煉、潔淨明達的人，使他們變得潔白，直到末後的時期，因為所定的時期還沒來到。「這王任意而行，自高自大，高抬自己超過一切神明，並說荒謬的話來敵對萬神之神；他事事順利，直到憤怒的時期終結，因為那被註定的事必成就。

我一看見他，就仆倒在他的腳前，像死人那樣。他把右手放在我身上，說：「不要怕！我就是首先的，是末後的，

「末後的時期，南方王會與他衝撞。北方王必帶著戰車、馬兵和許多戰船，暴風般地攻擊他，並侵入列國，如洪水漫溢，縱橫穿越。

至於你，你只管去吧，直到你的結局！你必安息，到了末後的那些日子，你必起來得你的份。」

他將與許多人訂立一個『七』之久的堅固盟約；而在半個『七』的時候，他將使祭物和供物止息。在那些可憎者的羽翼上，必出現一個帶來荒涼的人，直到那被註定的滅絕傾瀉在這帶來荒涼的人身上。」

隨後，那位天使對我說：「你當寫下：那些被邀請赴羔羊婚宴的人是蒙福的！」他又對我說：「這些都是神真實的話語。」我就俯伏在他的腳前，要敬拜他。可是他對我說：「你要注意，不可這樣！我與你和你的弟兄們——那些持守有關耶穌見證的，都是同做奴僕的。你應當敬拜神！因為有關耶穌的見證，才是預言的靈魂所在。」

看哪！那位樣子像人的碰了我的嘴唇，我就開口說話。我對那位站在我面前的說：「我主啊！因這異象，劇痛臨到我身上，我的力氣就留存不住。

我約翰，是聽見又看見這些事的人。我聽見又看見了以後，就俯伏在那位指示我這些事的天使腳前，要敬拜他。

亞伯蘭臉伏於地；神又對他說：

他們抬頭一看，只看見耶穌一個人，沒有別人。

這時候，以利亞與摩西一起向他們顯現，並且和耶穌談話。彼得對耶穌說：「拉比，我們在這裡真好！讓我們來搭三座帳幕，一座為你，一座為摩西，一座為以利亞。」

唯獨我但以理看到了這異象，那些與我在一起的人卻沒有看到這異象，但是有極大的恐懼落在他們身上，他們就逃走躲藏了。因此，唯獨剩下我一人看到了這極大的異象；我裡面一點力氣都沒有，我的臉色變得如同死灰，我的力氣也留存不住，

那碰我的對我說：「蒙愛的但以理啊！你當領悟我向你說的話，站起來，因為我現在受派遣到你這裡。」他與我說這話的時候，我就戰戰兢兢地站了起來。

在你開始懇求的時候，就有命令發出，於是我來告訴你，因為你是蒙愛的；你當領悟這話語，要領悟這異象！

於是尼布甲尼撒王就臉伏於地，向但以理下拜，並且吩咐人向他獻上供物和香品。

我但以理正在觀看這異象，想要領悟它，看哪，有一位樣貌像人的站在我面前！
