Because of rebellion, the Lord’s people and the daily sacrifice were given over to it. It prospered in everything it did, and truth was thrown to the ground.

Because many of the Lord’ s people refused to obey him, they were handed over to the horn. The daily sacrifices were also given over to it. The horn was successful no matter what it did. And true worship of God was thrown down to the ground.

And a host will be given over to it together with the regular burnt offering because of transgression, and it will throw truth to the ground, and it will act and prosper.

The army of heaven was restrained from responding to this rebellion. So the daily sacrifice was halted, and truth was overthrown. The horn succeeded in everything it did.

In the rebellion, the army was given up, together with the regular sacrifice. The horn threw truth to the ground and was successful in what it did.

And because of an offense the army will be given to the horn along with the regular sacrifice; and it will hurl truth to the ground and do as it pleases and be successful.

遣兵戍守、彼眾玷污聖所及聖城、聖城或作聖所鞏固之城去日獻之祭、設殘賊可惡之物、背棄聖約之人、被其巧言引誘、惟識己天主之民、奮勇勉力、為所欲為、奮勇勉力為所欲為或作剛強其志為主行事民中明哲人、將訓誨多人、但多日多日或作一時遇難、遇難原文作顛蹶下同遭鋒刃火燄、擄掠攘奪之災、遇難之時、稍得扶助、有多人獻諛懷詐、佯為隨之、明哲者中、數人顛蹶、以試鍊其餘、使之清淨潔白、直至末期、蓋斯事於所定之期必必或作方應驗、斯王必任意而行、自高自大、侮慢諸神、以狂妄反常之詞、褻瀆諸神之主、所行無不亨通、直至主怒民降罰已畢、蓋所定之事必應驗、

大衛知掃羅蓄謀害己、即謂祭司亞比亞他曰、攜以弗得至此、

我又見一獸、自地而出、二角似羊、出言如龍、行前獸之權於前獸之前、使地與凡居於地之人、拜受傷幾死而得愈之前獸、行大異跡、能於人前使火自天降地、既得權、在獸前行異跡、遂誘惑居於地之人、使之為見傷於刃而尚活之獸作像、並有權使獸像有生氣、使獸像能言、且能使不拜獸像者見殺、使眾人無論大小貧富、自主者、為奴者、皆在右手、或在額、受印誌焉、人若不受獸之印誌、或獸名數、皆不得貿易、

我若與主爭辯、主必顯為至公、雖然、我猶敢與主理論、惡人之道途亨通、奸詐之人平康、何故哉、

寇賊之帳幕反平康、干天主怒者、天主反使之綏安、干天主怒者天主反使之綏安或作干天主怒恃己能配天主者反享安逸

我見牡綿羊牴觸、向西向北又向南、諸獸莫之能禦、莫之能禦原文作不能立於其前無能救護、脫於其害害原文作手者、惟任意而行、成為強大、
