彼則曰、我於夜間、見有乘赤馬者、立於谷中岡拈樹間、其後有赤紅白色之馬、我曰、我主、此維何、與我言之使謂我曰、我將以之示爾、立於岡拈樹間者曰、此乃耶和華所遣、遍遊大地者也、彼眾遂覆立於岡拈樹間之耶和華使者曰、我儕已遍遊大地、見全地安居靜謐、

我聞一聖者宣言、又有一聖者詢之曰、異象所示、論去日獻之祭、與行毀滅之罪、且付聖所與軍旅、而受足踐、其事延至何時、對曰、迨至二千三百晝夜、聖所乃得潔清、○我但以理既睹此異象、欲明其義、見有一立於我前者、其貌若人、亦聞烏萊河兩岸之間、有人聲呼曰、加百列歟、其使斯人知此異象、

舉目而觀、見一人衣枲衣、腰束烏法精金、身若碧玉、面若閃電、目若火炬、手足若磨光之銅、聲若羣眾之聲、

我但以理視之、見又有二使、一立河之此岸、一立河之彼岸、其一問河上衣枲衣者曰、此奇異之事、何時始畢、

萬軍之耶和華云、如爾行我途、遵我命、則必理我室、守我院、我且使爾行於侍者之間、
