我們的神來臨，絕不沉默；烈火在他面前吞噬，暴風在他四圍颳起。

原來，那焚燒場早已安排好了，是為君王所預備的；它又深又寬，其中充滿了火和許多木柴；耶和華的氣息如同一股硫磺火使它燃燒起來。

我又觀看，就聽見在寶座、活物和長老們的周圍，有許多天使的聲音；他們的數目有千千萬萬。

接著，我看見一個白色的大寶座和坐在它上面的那一位。地和天都從他面前逃避，連它們的地方也找不到了。我又看見死去的人，無論尊貴卑微，都站在那寶座前。書卷都打開了；另有一個書卷也打開了，這就是生命冊。死去的人都憑著書卷中所記的，照著他們的行為受審判。於是，海洋交出了其中的死人，死亡和陰間也交出了其中的死人；每個人都照著自己的行為受審判。然後，死亡和陰間被丟進火湖裡，這火湖就是第二次的死亡。凡是名字沒有被記在生命冊上的人，都被丟進了火湖裡。

看哪！耶和華必在烈火中臨到，他的戰車好像旋風，為要在怒火中施行他憤怒的報應，在火焰中發出他的斥責；因為耶和華必以烈火和他的刀劍審判一切有血肉的；那時被耶和華所殺的人會很多。

願諸天歡喜，願大地快樂，願海洋和其中所充滿的澎湃如雷，願田野和其中的一切都歡躍；那時森林中所有的樹木都必歡呼，在耶和華面前歡呼，因為他要來，因為他要來審判大地；他將以公義審判世界，以他的信實審判萬民！

密雲和幽暗在他的四圍，公義和公正是他寶座的根基。烈火行在他的面前，燒盡他四圍的敵人。

神的戰車千千萬萬，主就在其中，從西奈山進入聖所。

亞當的第七代子孫以諾也曾預言這些人，說：「看哪，主帶著他的千萬聖者來臨，

直到亙古永存者來臨，為至高者的聖徒們伸張公正，聖徒們擁有國度的所定時候就來到了。

然而庭審將要開始，那王的權柄必被奪去，除滅消亡，直到永遠。

你們會經由我的山谷逃跑，因為山谷延伸到亞薩；你們會逃跑，像人們逃避猶大王烏西雅年間的大地震那樣。耶和華我的神必來臨，所有的聖者也與他一起來臨。

那時，敬畏耶和華的人彼此談論，耶和華留心垂聽。那些敬畏耶和華、尊重他名的人，在他面前都被記錄在一本記念冊上。萬軍之耶和華說：「在我預備珍貴產業的日子，他們必屬於我；我必憐恤他們，如同人憐恤那服事自己的兒子。那時，你們必再次看出義人與惡人、服事神的人與不服事神的人的區別。」

「當人子在他的榮耀中，與所有的天使一起來臨的時候，他那時就要坐在他榮耀的寶座上。

相反，你們卻是來到了錫安山、永生神的城、天上的耶路撒冷面前；來到了千萬天使的盛會面前；
