但以理心甚靈慧、尊榮勝於他冢宰與諸方伯、王欲立之治理通國、

Now Daniel so distinguished himself among the administrators and the satraps by his exceptional qualities that the king planned to set him over the whole kingdom.

Daniel did a better job than the other two leaders or any of the royal rulers. He was an unusually good and able man. So the king planned to put him in charge of the whole kingdom.

Then this Daniel became distinguished above all the other high officials and satraps, because an excellent spirit was in him. And the king planned to set him over the whole kingdom.

Daniel soon proved himself more capable than all the other administrators and high officers. Because of Daniel’s great ability, the king made plans to place him over the entire empire.

都因为他有美好的灵性，又有知识聪明，能解梦，释谜语，解疑惑。这人名叫但以理，尼布甲尼撒王又称他为伯提沙撒，现在可以召他来，他必解明这意思。”

法老对臣仆说：“像这样的人，有上帝的灵在他里面，我们岂能找得着呢？”法老对约瑟说：“上帝既指示你这一切事，就没有人像你这样聪明又有智慧。你可以治理我的家；我的百姓都必服从你口中的命令。惟独在宝座上，我比你大。”法老又对约瑟说：“看，我委派你治理埃及全地。”

于是我看出智慧胜过愚昧，如同光明胜过黑暗。

我吩咐我的兄弟哈拿尼和城堡的官长哈拿尼雅管理耶路撒冷，因为哈拿尼雅是一个忠信的人，敬畏上帝过于众人。

你看见办事殷勤的人吗？他必侍立在君王面前，不在平庸的人面前。

你刚开始恳求的时候，就有命令发出。现在我来告诉你，因你是蒙爱的；所以你要思想这事，明白这异象。

节制言语的，有见识；性情温良的人，有聪明。

不可使慈爱和诚信离开你，要系在你颈项上，刻在你心版上。这样，你必在上帝和世人眼前蒙恩惠，有美好的见识。
