with three administrators over them, one of whom was Daniel. The satraps were made accountable to them so that the king might not suffer loss.

He placed three leaders over them. One of the leaders was Daniel. The royal rulers were made accountable to the three leaders. Then the king wouldn’t lose any of his wealth.

and over them three high officials, of whom Daniel was one, to whom these satraps should give account, so that the king might suffer no loss.

The king also chose Daniel and two others as administrators to supervise the high officers and protect the king’s interests.

于是伯沙撒下令，人就把紫袍给但以理穿上，把金链给他戴在颈项上，又传令使他在国中位列第三。

我听说你能讲解，能解疑惑；现在你若能读这文字，为我讲解它的意思，就必身穿紫袍，项戴金链，在我国中位列第三。”

你们当谨慎办这事，不可迟延，何必让损害加重，使王受亏损呢？”

于是王使但以理高升，赏赐他极多的礼物，派他管理巴比伦全省，又立他为总理，掌管巴比伦所有的智慧人。但以理求王，王就派沙得拉、米煞、亚伯尼歌管理巴比伦省的事务，只是但以理仍在朝中侍立。

因为我和我的本族被出卖了，要被剪除，杀戮，灭绝。我们若被卖为奴为婢，我就闭口不言；但我们的痛苦比起王的损失，算不得什么。”

因为天国好像一个王要和他仆人算账。

所求于管家的，是要他忠心。

藉愚昧人的手寄信的，就像砍断双脚，喝下残暴。

因此，耶和华—以色列的上帝说：‘我确实说过，你和你祖宗的家必永远行在我面前，但现在耶和华却说，我绝不会这样做。因为尊重我的，我必尊重他；藐视我的，他必被轻视。

她的右手有长寿，左手有富贵。

他叫了自己的十个仆人来，交给他们十锭银子，说：‘你们去做生意，直到我回来。’他本国的百姓却恨他，打发使者随后去，说：‘我们不愿意这个人作我们的王。’他得了王位回来，就吩咐叫那领了银子的仆人来，要知道他们做生意赚了多少。头一个上来，说：‘主啊，你的一锭银子已经赚了十锭。’主人对他说：‘好，我善良的仆人，你既在最小的事上忠心，你有权柄管十座城。’第二个来，说：‘主啊，你的一锭银子已经赚了五锭。’主人也对这个说：‘你管五座城。’又有一个来说：‘主啊！看哪，你的一锭银子在这里，我把它包在手巾里存着。我向来怕你，因为你是严厉的人：没有放的，也要去拿；没有种的，也要去收。’主人对他说：‘你这恶仆，我要凭你的话定你的罪。你既知道我是严厉的人，没有放的也去拿，没有种的也去收，为什么不把我的银子存在银行，等我来的时候，连本带利都取回来呢？’于是他对那些站在旁边的人说：‘把他这一锭夺过来，给那有十锭的。’他们对他说：‘主啊，他已经有十锭了。’主人说：‘我告诉你们，凡有的，还要给他；没有的，连他所有的也要夺过来。至于我那些仇敌，不要我作他们王的，把他们拉来，在我面前杀了！’”

主人叫他来，对他说：‘我听到了，你做的是什么事？把你所经管的交代清楚，你不能再作我的管家了。’
