He disseminated a proclamation throughout his entire kingdom, announcing in a written edict the following:“ Thus says King Cyrus of Persia:“‘ The LORD God of heaven has given me all the kingdoms of the earth. He has instructed me to build a temple for him in Jerusalem, which is in Judah.

In the third year of King Cyrus of Persia a message was revealed to Daniel( who was also called Belteshazzar). This message was true and concerned a great war. He understood the message and gained insight by the vision.
