心若豺狼、為人驅逐、不與人居、而與野驢錯處、齧蒭若牛、沾濡於露、待知至上之上帝、操世之權、以國畀人、悉隨其意、

被人驅逐、不與人偕居、食草如牛、為天降之露所濕、待知至上之天主、主掌人間之國、隨意立人為國主、

He was driven away from people and given the mind of an animal; he lived with the wild donkeys and ate grass like the ox; and his body was drenched with the dew of heaven, until he acknowledged that the Most High God is sovereign over all kingdoms on earth and sets over them anyone he wishes.

He was driven away from people. He was given the mind of an animal. He lived with the wild donkeys. He ate grass just as an ox does. His body became wet with the dew of heaven. He stayed that way until he recognized that the Most High God rules over all kingdoms on earth. He puts anyone he wants to in charge of them.

He was driven from among the children of mankind, and his mind was made like that of a beast, and his dwelling was with the wild donkeys. He was fed grass like an ox, and his body was wet with the dew of heaven, until he knew that the Most High God rules the kingdom of mankind and sets over it whom he will.

He was driven from human society. He was given the mind of a wild animal, and he lived among the wild donkeys. He ate grass like a cow, and he was drenched with the dew of heaven, until he learned that the Most High God rules over the kingdoms of the world and appoints anyone he desires to rule over them.

你必被趕出離開世人，與野地的走獸同住，吃草如牛，讓天上的露水滴濕，且要經過七個時期，直等到你知道至高者在人的國中掌權，要將國賜給誰就賜給誰。

這是眾守望者所發的命令，是眾聖者所作的決定，好叫世人知道至高者在人的國中掌權，要將國賜給誰就賜給誰，並且立極卑微的人執掌國權。』

田野的樹木因此就知道是我－耶和華使高樹矮小，使矮樹高大，使綠樹枯乾，使枯樹發旺。我－耶和華說了這話，就必成就。」

地上所有的居民都算為虛無；在天上萬軍和地上居民中，他都憑自己的旨意行事。無人能攔住他的手，或問他說，你在做甚麼呢？

因為這一次我要使一切的災禍臨到你自己，你臣僕和你百姓的身上，為要叫你知道在全地沒有像我的。現在，我若伸手用瘟疫攻擊你和你的百姓，你就會從地上除滅了。然而，我讓你存活，是為了要使你看見我的大能，並要使我的名傳遍全地。

你必被趕出離開世人，與野地的走獸同住，吃草如牛，且要經過七個時期；等你知道至高者在人的國中掌權，要將國賜給誰就賜給誰。」當時這話就應驗在尼布甲尼撒身上，他被趕出離開世人，吃草如牛，身體被天上的露水滴濕，頭髮長得像鷹的羽毛，指甲長得像鳥爪。

他們因窮乏飢餓，沒有生氣，在荒廢淒涼的幽暗中啃乾燥之地。他們在草叢之中採鹹草，羅騰樹的根成為他們的食物。他們從人羣中被趕出，人追喊他們如賊一般，以致他們住在荒谷，住在地洞和巖穴中。他們在草叢中叫喚，在荊棘下擠成一團。

願他們永遠羞愧驚惶！願他們慚愧滅亡！願他們認識你的名是耶和華，惟獨你是掌管全地的至高者！

現在我－尼布甲尼撒讚美、尊崇、恭敬天上的王，因為他所行的全都信實，他所做的盡都公平。那行事驕傲的，他能降為卑。」
