心若豺狼、為人驅逐、不與人居、而與野驢錯處、齧蒭若牛、沾濡於露、待知至上之上帝、操世之權、以國畀人、悉隨其意、

被人驅逐、不與人偕居、食草如牛、為天降之露所濕、待知至上之天主、主掌人間之國、隨意立人為國主、

He was driven away from people and given the mind of an animal; he lived with the wild donkeys and ate grass like the ox; and his body was drenched with the dew of heaven, until he acknowledged that the Most High God is sovereign over all kingdoms on earth and sets over them anyone he wishes.

Through want and hard hunger they gnaw the dry ground by night in waste and desolation;they pick saltwort and the leaves of bushes, and the roots of the broom tree for their food.They are driven out from human company; they shout after them as after a thief.In the gullies of the torrents they must dwell, in holes of the earth and of the rocks.Among the bushes they bray; under the nettles they huddle together.

Let them be put to shame and dismayed forever; let them perish in disgrace,that they may know that you alone, whose name is the Lord, are the Most High over all the earth.

Now I, Nebuchadnezzar, praise and extol and honor the King of heaven, for all his works are right and his ways are just; and those who walk in pride he is able to humble.
