While Belshazzar was drinking his wine, he gave orders to bring in the gold and silver goblets that Nebuchadnezzar his father had taken from the temple in Jerusalem, so that the king and his nobles, his wives and his concubines might drink from them.

They were the cups his father Nebuchadnezzar had taken from the temple in Jerusalem. Belshazzar had them brought in so everyone could drink from them. That included the king himself, his nobles, his wives and his concubines.

居鲁士王也将耶和华殿的器皿拿出来，这器皿是尼布甲尼撒从耶路撒冷掠来、放在自己神之庙中的。波斯王居鲁士派库官米提利达将这器皿拿出来，按数交给犹大的首领设巴萨。器皿的数目记在下面：金盘三十个，银盘一千个，刀二十九把，金碗三十个，银碗之次的四百一十个，别样的器皿一千件。金银器皿共有五千四百件。被掳的人从巴比伦上耶路撒冷的时候，设巴萨将这一切都带上来。

火鼎、碗，无论金的银的，护卫长也都带去了。

我又对祭司和这众民说：“耶和华如此说：你们不可听那先知对你们所说的预言。他们说：‘耶和华殿中的器皿快要从巴比伦带回来’；其实他们向你们说假预言。不可听从他们，只管服侍巴比伦王便得存活。这城何致变为荒场呢？他们若果是先知，有耶和华的话临到他们，让他们祈求万军之耶和华，使那在耶和华殿中和犹大王宫内，并耶路撒冷剩下的器皿，不被带到巴比伦去。因为万军之耶和华论到柱子、铜海、盆座，并剩在这城里的器皿，就是巴比伦王尼布甲尼撒掳掠犹大王约雅敬的儿子耶哥尼雅，和犹大、耶路撒冷一切贵胄的时候所没有掠去的器皿。论到那在耶和华殿中和犹大王宫内，并耶路撒冷剩下的器皿，万军之耶和华以色列的神如此说：必被带到巴比伦存在那里，直到我眷顾以色列人的日子。那时，我必将这器皿带回来，交还此地。这是耶和华说的。”

杯、火鼎、碗、盆、灯台、调羹、爵，无论金的银的，护卫长也都带去了。

竟向天上的主自高，使人将他殿中的器皿拿到你面前，你和大臣、皇后、妃嫔用这器皿饮酒。你又赞美那不能看、不能听、无知无识、金、银、铜、铁、木、石所造的神，却没有将荣耀归与那手中有你气息，管理你一切行动的神。

迦勒底王将神殿里的大小器皿与耶和华殿里的财宝，并王和众首领的财宝，都带到巴比伦去了。

他们饮酒，赞美金、银、铜、铁、木、石所造的神。

列国都必服侍他和他的儿孙，直到他本国遭报的日期来到。那时，多国和大君王要使他作他们的奴仆。

以色列王亚哈的儿子约兰十二年，犹大王约兰的儿子亚哈谢登基。他登基的时候年二十二岁，在耶路撒冷作王一年。他母亲名叫亚他利雅，是以色列王暗利的孙女。亚哈谢效法亚哈家行耶和华眼中看为恶的事，与亚哈家一样，因为他是亚哈家的女婿。

但以理就被领到王前。王问但以理说：“你是被掳之犹大人中的但以理吗？就是我父王从犹大掳来的吗？

王啊，至高的神曾将国位、大权、荣耀、威严赐与你父尼布甲尼撒；

过了一年，尼布甲尼撒差遣人将约雅斤和耶和华殿里各样宝贵的器皿带到巴比伦，就立约雅斤的叔叔西底家作犹大和耶路撒冷的王。

在你国中有一人，他里头有圣神的灵，你父在世的日子，这人心中光明，又有聪明智慧，好像神的智慧。你父尼布甲尼撒王，就是王的父，立他为术士、用法术的，和迦勒底人，并观兆的领袖。

大卫说：“你不要惧怕，我必因你父亲约拿单的缘故施恩与你，将你祖父扫罗的一切田地都归还你；你也可以常与我同席吃饭。”

后来又娶押沙龙的女儿玛迦，从她生了亚比雅、亚太、细撒、示罗密。

亚撒王贬了他祖母玛迦太后的位，因她造了可憎的偶像亚舍拉。亚撒砍下她的偶像，捣得粉碎，烧在汲沦溪边。
