Finally, Daniel came into my presence and I told him the dream.( He is called Belteshazzar, after the name of my god, and the spirit of the holy gods is in him.)

Finally, Daniel came to me. He is called Belteshazzar, after the name of my god. The spirit of the holy gods is in him. I told him my dream.

At last Daniel came in before me— he who was named Belteshazzar after the name of my god, and in whom is the spirit of the holy gods— and I told him the dream, saying,

Later Daniel entered( whose name is Belteshazzar after the name of my god, and in whom there is a spirit of the holy gods). I recounted the dream for him as well,

But at the last Daniel came in before me, whose name was Belteshazzar, according to the name of my god, and in whom is the spirit of the holy gods. I told the dream before him, saying,

太监长给他们起了名字：称但以理为伯提沙撒，哈拿尼雅为沙得拉，米沙利为米煞，亚撒利雅为亚伯尼歌。

“这就是我尼布甲尼撒王所做的梦。伯提沙撒啊，你要为我解梦，因为我国中所有的智者都不能为我解梦。但是你能，因为你有圣洁神明的灵。”

我听说你有神明的灵，有灼见、悟性和非凡的智慧。

‘术士的首领伯提沙撒啊，我知道你有圣洁神明的灵，任何奥秘都难不倒你。请你为我解释我梦中所见的异象。

你国中有一个人，他有圣洁神明的灵。先王在世时，曾发现他有神明一样的灼见、悟性和智慧。先王尼布甲尼撒立他为术士、巫师、占星家和占卜者的首领。他有非凡的心智、知识和悟性，能解梦、释谜、解惑。他叫但以理，先王给他取名叫伯提沙撒。现在可以把他召来，他必能解释这些字的意思。”

王问的事太难，除了不在人间居住的神明外，无人能为王解答。”

后来，他们想起古时候，想起了摩西和他的百姓，便问，带领百姓及其牧者摩西从海里出来的那位在哪里？将自己的圣灵降在他们中间的那位在哪里？

“你要向列国宣告，你要竖起旗帜毫不隐瞒地宣告，‘巴比伦要沦陷了！它的神明彼勒必蒙羞，米罗达必惊慌；巴比伦的神像都蒙羞，偶像都必惊慌。

彼勒屈膝跪下，尼波弯腰降服。这些巴比伦的偶像成为野兽和牲畜背上的重负，使其疲惫不堪。

我要在那里降临，对你说话，把降在你身上的灵也赐给他们，让他们为你分担管理民众的责任，免得你独自承担。你要叫民众洁净自己，到明天就会有肉吃。因为我听见了他们哭着要肉吃、说埃及的日子更好，我必给他们肉吃。他们将不止吃一天、两天、五天、十天或二十天，而是要吃整整一个月，直到肉从他们鼻孔里喷出来，令他们厌腻。因为他们厌弃我，在我面前哭诉，后悔离开埃及。”摩西说：“和我同行的，仅男子就有六十万，你还说要让他们吃整整一个月的肉！就是把牛羊都宰了，把海里的鱼都捕来，恐怕也不够他们吃！”耶和华说：“难道我的臂膀能力不够吗？你很快将看见我的话会不会应验。”摩西就出去把耶和华的话转告民众，又选了七十位长老，叫他们站在会幕周围。耶和华在云中降临，对摩西说话，把降在摩西身上的灵也赐给七十位长老。灵一降在他们身上，他们就说起预言来，但只说了这一次。七十位长老中的伊利达和米达没有到会幕去，但耶和华的灵也降在他们身上，他们就在营中说起预言来。有一个青年跑去禀告摩西说：“伊利达和米达正在营中说预言。”摩西拣选的助手——嫩的儿子约书亚就说：“我主摩西，请你禁止他们。”摩西说：“你是怕我的权威受影响吗？愿耶和华的子民都成为先知！愿耶和华把祂的灵降在他们身上！”之后，摩西和以色列的长老都返回营中。
