只有一位在天上的上帝、他能將機密的事啓示出來；他已將日後要發生的事告訴了尼布甲尼撒王了。你的夢和你在床上在腦中所見的異象是這樣：王啊，你在床上、你的思想上來、想到此後將會發生的事；那能啓示機密事的主就把將來要發生的事告訴了你了。

過了兩年工夫，法老作了一個夢，夢見他站在尼羅河旁邊。

『那事到這裏就了結。我但以理呢、心裏一想就驚惶，氣色也突變；然而那事、我總存記於心。』

太后因王和他的大臣所說的話，就進了宴宮；太后應時說：『願王萬歲！你的思想可別使你驚惶哦；氣色可不要變哦！

我若說：「我的臥榻必安慰我，我的床必擔當我的哀怨，你就用夢使我驚慌，用異象來驚擾我；
