我聽見身穿細麻衣、站在河水之上的人向天舉起雙手，憑永活者起誓說：「再過三年半，等摧毀聖民的權勢結束時，這一切事都要成就。」

他必褻瀆至高者，迫害至高者的聖民，試圖改變節期和律法。聖民將被交在他手中三年半。

因為數年後，北方王必召集更龐大的軍隊，帶著大量裝備捲土重來。

要讓這些人心靈麻木，耳朵發背，眼睛昏花，免得他們眼睛看見，耳朵聽見，心裡明白，回心轉意，就得到醫治。」

耶穌上岸後，迎面遇見當地一個被鬼附身的人。那人長期赤身露體，不住在房屋裡，只住在墓穴中。他一見到耶穌，就仆倒在祂面前，高聲喊叫：「至高上帝的兒子耶穌，我和你有什麼關係？求求你，不要折磨我！」這是因為耶穌已命令污鬼離開那人。那人多次被污鬼操縱，人們用鐵鏈腳鐐把他鎖起來看管，他竟把鎖鏈也扯斷，被鬼催逼到荒野。

但那婦人得到一對巨鷹的翅膀，使她能飛到曠野，去上帝為她預備的地方避難，在那裡被照顧三年半。

話未說完，天上就有聲音說：「尼布甲尼撒王啊，你聽著，你已失去王權。你必從人群中被趕走，與野獸同住，像牛一樣吃草，達七年之久，直到你知道至高者主宰世上萬國，祂要把國賜給誰就賜給誰。」這話立刻應驗在尼布甲尼撒身上。他從人群中被趕走，像牛一樣吃草，身體被天上的露水浸濕，直到他的頭髮長如鷹毛，指甲長如鳥爪。

天地都要消亡，但你永遠長存。天地都會像衣服漸漸破舊，
