然而你们当把带根的树桩留在地里，在田野的青草中用铁圈和铜圈套住——让他被天上的露水湿透，在地上的牧草中与走兽一同有份；

惟留其根於地、在田野青草之間、束以銅鐵之索、濕以天露、俾與野獸共囓地草、

斷枝剩幹、猶留於地、斯樹譬諸斯人、束以銅鐵、委其草萊之間、為夜露所沾濡、使之嚙蒭、無異野獸、

惟其根株仍留於地、以銅索鐵索、繫於田野之草中、為天降之露所濕、與野獸同食以草、

But let the stump and its roots, bound with iron and bronze, remain in the ground, in the grass of the field.“‘ Let him be drenched with the dew of heaven, and let him live with the animals among the plants of the earth.

『樹若被砍下，還可指望再萌芽，幼枝生長不息。就使其根衰老於地裏，其樹𣎴子死於塵土中，到一得了水氣，還是會發芽，長枝條，像新栽種的一樣。

我必恢復埃及人的故業，使他們返回他們的本地、他們根原之地、巴忒羅；在那裏他們必成為低微之國；它必成為列國中最低微的；它必不再自己抬高於列國之上；我必減少他們的人數，免致他們再轄制列國。

說你必被趕逐、離開人類，你的住處必同山野的走獸在一起；你必受迫而喫草如牛，被天露滴濕，經過七個時期；等到你承認至高者在人國中掌權，他喜歡將國賜給誰、就賜給誰。警衛者既吩咐把樹根上的𣎴子留着，那就是說：等到你承認是天在掌權，你的國就必立定歸你。所以、王啊，求你悅納我的諫諍，以顯義氣而斷絕罪惡，以憐憫貧困人而除掉罪孽，使你的安樂興隆或者可以延長。』
